We began our vacation trip to Napa with lunch at Cucina Italiana - Stefano was a perfect host, the menu was delightful - we ordered appetizers - bbq oysters and bruscetta. Both were incredible - also the dipping oil/balsamic vinegar (15 yr old - thick and lucious) were great! We shared a huge portion of homemade ravioli and a glass... more

The best Italian food served in a gas station! My cousin and I have been to the Napa area twice, once for a long weekend vacation of wining and dining, and another to Santa Rosa for a training course, out of our 2 visits to the area we have eaten a Cucina Italiana 6 times! The food is above excellent... more

My Italian husband and I recently moved to Napa Valley from Tuscany, and stumbled upon Cucina Italiana while out exploring. We stopped in for a espresso, and decided to return to the casual trattoria for an early Easter dinner. Everything that Stefano delivered to the table was amazing - from the homemade ravioli to the fresh seafood linguini "cartoccio", to... more

Saturday, February 28th, was 'Open That Bottle Night' up on Knoxville Road. One nice Berryessa couple brought in their own Cab and shared a glass with us. They wanted to offer a glass to Stefano, Cucina Italiana's chef. "Can he drink and cook at the same time?" they asked. Sharyn, Stefano's partner in crime, blurted, "He can't drink and do... more

I was driving to the lake and my family was so hungry that we went and eat there. The bread was so hard like it was there for months. The food was not good at all we try it and left all the food. We came home that night and all of us were so sick. I will never go... more

Before Cucina Italiana opened over three years ago, my husband and I had only been to Lake Berryessa a few times in the 15 years we had lived in the area. We run a B&B in Chiles Valley and several of our guests had dinner there and raved about it, so we finally had to go there and find out... more

While camping at Spanish Flat in Lake Berryessa my Father, Sister & I stumbled upon this little restaurant (located down the street) and were more than pleasantly surprised by the service, atmosphere and most importantly the food. We were camping and did not want to cook dinner so we figured we'd pick up a burger or BBQ, but to our... more

We had lunch in Cucina Italiana while staying in one of the resorts in Lake Berryessa. Food is excellent with fresh ingredients and the price is very reasonable. The friendly chef used to work in well-known restaurants in San Francisco. Don't miss it if you are in Lake Berryessa or Napa areas. more

Our party of 7 adults and 6 kids, mostly under 7 years of age stumbled upon Cucina Italiana on a rainy Memorial Day weekend while vacationing at Lake Berryessa, close to Napa Valley. It was a day of low expectations for us due to the inclement weather. We just wanted a place to have lunch where we could seat our... more
