Great for Breakfast & Dinner

We had a great breakfast. My husband had a massive omlet with chicken, accompanied by hashbrown potato pancakes. I had scrambled egg with tomatoes, basil and housemade Italian sausage. Both breakfasts came with toast and marionberry jam. Very nice staff who were chatting graciously with the regulars

Wonderful staff, excellent food, and a comfortable setting. We eat breakfast here all the time, and also enjoy the lunches and dinners. You'll want to come back! The breakfast burrito and Spanish omelette are our favorites. Lunch and dinner pastas are wonderful, and don't miss the cioppino.

Several tables that sat after us were served first, when I brought it to their attention the waitress acted as if I were a bother. Cakes were a bit overdone. Yes it was the 4th of July weekend on a getaway Sunday and yes they were busy but that's no excuse. Will be back because we have had several excellent... More

The scrambled eggs and fresh basil breakfast dish looked awful but tasted great. The eggs in the burrito were overdone but the sauce that covered it was delicate yet spicy. Overall, a delicious breakfast.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Grounds while visiting Murphys. I had an excellent filet, and my wife was very pleased with her cordon bleu. We shared a tasty tiramisu for desert. The wine list included a number of well known California wines. We shared a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay for $46. The ambience was very nice... More

Although Grounds isn't particularly cheap - there are less expensive options in Murphy's - everything was cooked perfectly and very delicious. My mom had salmon, vegetables and risotto, and I had grilled vegetables and white wine mushroom risotto. We ate on the patio which was quite nice even on a hot summer evening. The bread was the best part -hot... More

Normally I frequent Grounds for their delicious breakfast but ended up there for dinner the other night. The filet was very yummy and the service was great. An easy choice for any meals of the day. Tip- you can eat at Grounds and still get a oven fired pizza from neighboring Firewood. A win win for all.

I would have eaten here every morning if we had more time. I love a good breakfast and this place really hit the spot especially after a night of wine tasting. The potato pancake potatoes omg yummy and the portions were very big. We took left overs home for the next morning which was perfect for the hangover after the... More

The coffee is divine! I had the Spanish omelette, which was fluffy and spicy; just as it should be. Bill had the oatmeal and was pleased; it wasn't watery, and had a nice 'chew' to it, like I make at home. Mindy was a wonderfully attentive server & kept our cups full. Only one downside: the cook insists on making... More
