Looking around for Mexican food at reasonable price at Mountain View, we found Taqueria to be the answer. The chips were decent and came included. Burritos tasted really good and were a lot bigger than expected! If you're looking for a satisfying quick meal without breaking the bank, this is the place to go.

I had pork with green chile salsa and pollo taco after watching the football game at a sports bar next door. i had been tipped off by Yelpers and was very pleased. The tacos cost me a few bucks and I got tortilla chips and a soda as well. Locals should consider this place before a show at Shoreline for... More

When I'm jonesing for authentic Mexican food, this is the place I go. It is the best in the county. I love their nachos, and if I'm feeling like really pigging out, I love the Suisa Quesadilla. Just keep your expectations in check: this isn't a fancy restaurant. There is no ambiance to speak of. This place is just about... More

This is THE place to go for good Mexican food in Mt View-PaloAlto. Everyone there from moms with kids, construction workers to hi tech execs. Worth a visit.

I learned to like fish tacos just a year or two back by trying them at Rubio's. I still like the battered and fried fish in the Rubio's taco, but this little gem of a restaurant does fish the way fish should be done - quick cooked on the stove top without any breading. The very thin fish was just... More

Taqueria Los Altos is one of those unassuming places that you always wish you run across while traveling. The tacos and burritos are wonderful; they have great tamales; and the service is fast and friendly. Lunchtime during the week is very busy, but evenings are less crowded. In short, a fine little Mexican restaurant when you're not looking for anything... More

this is the best taqueria in the area. It doesnt get any better than this place, owners are very nice, maybe the service at night isnt all that, but its worth the food.

The super suiza is popular. The lengua is good, but taste was totally overpowered in a torta... I'd try it just in a taco next time and go back to my typical carnitas or al pastor torta.

Particularly fond of the grilled chicken super burrito. Other favorites are the super-suiza (a giant quesadilla with salsa, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole) and the milanesa sandwich.
