RedRock has a great vibe. The coffee is fresh and well prepared, the bakery snacks are never "tired". Staff is the friendly side of hipster. But the best thing is the atmosphere. Plenty of electrical outlets, nice second story views of Castro St., tables alone or tables to share. There are regular meetups here, more often for Gamers or knitters,... More

my son had told my husband about this place so we headed there to enjoy some time with our family. looks like a place to grab a good cup of coffee and light snacks (we tried a bar with apricot filling that was very good). lots of people on their laptops, but a lot of space so they can handle... I just visited this today. love the atmosphere. - coffee is good - not many snack options, they have some but should add lot more - awesome seating on 1st & even better on 2nd floor; you could sit for hours and work or discuss ideas as I was doing with another start-up enthusiast

Good coffee, tea, snacks, lots of space on the second floor to have meetings and nice and cozy atmosphere on the first floor to have a break.

This was a very smooth latte. The atmosphere downstairs was loud and crowded, but I was taking mine to go anyway. I'd definitely go again.

Great coffee! But a bit too self concerned about being upscale low key. Agree that this is better than Starbucks (not a fan of) and had (cute and understated) holiday decorations. As visitors (read tourists) we did not return for a second cup... it felt too local. Using your electronics alone.... great for that!

Strong coffee, pretty good bakery selections and packed with patrons with laptops. The laptop to guest ratio is at least 1 to 1. Neighborhood feel, busy, community type coffee shop that makes a killer hot chocolate too.

This is the place to be if you want to get a feel of innovation and startups. The person sitting across from you sipping a latte could be the founder of Whatsapp, which was just acquired by Facebook for $19 billion. The movers and shakers in Silicon Valley are amazingly low key and look like normal people with a nerdish... More

Not sure if this still holds regularly, but there used to be open mic here with folks stepping up to sing on Monday nights. Great ambiance and coffee to go along with it with loads of cool people grooving along. A little cool spot on the one Mountain View street that has the most "action" in this city; Castro street.
