Awesome starter bread - not consistent

The ravioli is good. The ambience is very nice. The hosts and hostess are friendly. But some of them are very old and forget your order :) They do have vegetarian choice. They offered to add vegetables to the fettucini with alfredo pasta, but the vegetables were pretty raw.

We have always gotten delicious food, graciously served, at Vaso Azzurro. We're probably eaten here at least two dozen times, to celebrate anniversaries, special dates, etc. It's simply our "go-to" place because the chefs have been consistently good, on regular menu items and the special of the day if it appeals to you. This month we had good friends from... More

This family owned Italian restaurant was one of the highlights of our visit to Mountain View. The ambiance, service, wine list and menu all were pleasing to the max. Family owned is key to the delightful evening. If you are lucky, you will hear the staff sing in lovely harmony. The counter tenor is particularly superb. Cannot recommend highly enough,

First of all Marc at the front door is such an amazing guy. He got us right in for a table of 4 around 5pm before all the reservations hit. Be sure you make a reservation if you're going any later. He told us all about the place and his favorite dishes and desserts. I'm so glad he did or... More

Perfectly good meal and food with friendly service. Only real issues (and this is for anything in Mountain View) is getting somewhere to park and/or getting through the main intersection Restaurant is right at the top of Castro and is excellently presented with some nice modern art paintings on the wall. Very mediterranean in colours and well worth a visit.... More

Great food and service. Music on some nights. Outside eating with heat lamps if needed. Try to get here when the train schedule is less frequent as the noise is noticeable. You you should really get reservations as there is always a line. There is a bar area and I think you can also eat at the bar. Good selection... More

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with the family owners of this truly authentic Italian restaurant! Birthday serenades, Pinot Grigio, and tasty seafood dinner combined to make this a special experience in the heart of the Silicon Valley!

What an evening!!! We wondered in on a Friday evening with no reservation (I don't recommend it that part), and found a place at the bar (perhaps my smartest move of the evening). It turned out one of the owners was working the bar and after several incredible wine recommendations we were fortunate to find a small table. The food... More

If you are looking for a special restaurant with marvelous Italian food, great service, and - if you're lucky - good music, this is your place. My husband and I had a terrific meal at this very busy restaurant (you'll need reservations). My husband had the veal scalloppini. The veal was very good but the mashed potatoes and gravy were... Always a great place to eat. Sometimes noisy and always full. Get a reservation as it fills up fast with groups at times.
