Great atmosphere, okay food

Beer was interesting and burgers were okay but a charge for everything...cheese, bacon, avocado...that would seem okay if you started with an $8 burger but they started at 12...fries were an additional charge too. Quick enough for what we were looking for.

We have been here several times with friends to get a beer and a burger (or whatever) and have always gotten good food. Tonight we ordered some calamari and I have to say it was one of the best we've had in a long time. It is a pretty good size serving too. For an entree I had the fish... More

Went with a fairly large group for an evening meal this week. Arrived in a few groups, and bar staff refused to let us create a tab to add to restaurant bill. Inconvenient and unfriendly attitude. Then the supposed great beer- well we had more than one pint which was well past it's best. Including the Sour Beer, more like... More

I'll start with the beer: Maltopia is one of the best beers I've ever had! I'm sure the rest are all very good (my friends tried some others and said they were good), but Maltopia won me over! And the food! We visited Tied House twice on our visit to Mountain View, and each time I ordered off the specials... More

The first thing I noticed was that a number of tables with large groups of youngish men crowded around them. This is clearly a place for groups of co-workers to head after a long day, enjoy a beer or two, watch the numerous big screen TVs and get some typical pub grub. I was with two friends and we arrived... More

The food was great and there are a variety of Flights of Beer. The service was fast, the staff very friendly. A good place to see which type of beers you like the most.

I have visited this cafe/brewery three times during three different business trips to the Mountain View, CA area. I've enjoyed each experience. There's a very good menu...somewhat eclectic, and good. There is a beautiful outside patio area and I highly recommend getting an outside table if available and the weather is right. Great and diverse assortment of in-house brewed beers.... More

The food is okay. Certainly not a place to go because you will be wowed by the quality but it is certainly acceptable. The burger and fries are pretty standard and the pastrami burger is not quite what you might expect...pretty much it is a burger with three (too thick) slices of pastrami griddle cooked laid on top. The Buffalo... More

We were quickly seat and able to sit outside in the heated patio. The bison burger was excellent as was the IPA. The brownie desert was excellent!! Service was very good.

I stopped here recently during a business trip to the area. I wanted something casual, but with some local atmosphere, and I was not disappointed. It was a Sunday evening, and they had a sampler special of 3 for $3, so how could you pass that up? I had the elk burger, and it was nicely cooked and very tasty.... More
