Delicious food, great atmosphere

We dropped in for a business dinner and really enjoyed sitting on the patio. There is a lot of seating inside and outside, nice spacing between tables. There were a lot of selections and each was wonderful. The seafood tapas were the best. The bread and olive oil is very tasty.

There are over 250 restaurants listed on TA in Mountain View. This one was in the top 5 and the best place to get your Spanish tapas fix in the area. It's colorful, they offer indoor as well as outdoor seating, and has been rated as one of the best single scenes restaurants south of SF by Zagat. Furthermore, it... More

Excellent tapas style restaurant, the lamb was especially good (so good in fact we ordered 3 more!). Every dish was well presented and came in excellent time. Good beer selection and nice atmosphere within. Will be back!

Loved the atmosphere particularly with all the outdoor tables but wasn't so impressed with the food. It was good but was expecting a lot more.

Had dinner at Cascal's before 4th oh Juky show. Enjoyed seating outdoor but chairs were uncomfortable. Excellent service. Tapa special was hit n miss. Just to weird for us. Paella tasted like it was cooked two days ago. Pasty and not light and fresh. Atmosphere and service excellent, food fair or worse.

I'm not annoyed by noisy places when I'm not with kids, but be aware this is probably too noisy if you're looking to have dinner with your little ones. I've had excellent paella and lamb chops, nice presentations too. Better book if you want to go around weekends. They overbook too so you may have to wait even if you... More

Cascal is a very lively place with lots of outdoor seating, but you often have to wait a while, even at 9 pm or so. I think the best time to go is their happy hour, when both drinks and (some) tapas are discounted. We enjoyed some good scallops, Spanish tortilla, and more. Lots of good wine choices, plus sangría,... More

We went for a nice dinner at Cascal. We had drinks and shared their appetizer platter for dinner. This included cheeses, dates wrapped in bacon, octupus and shrimp skewers, potatoes, mussels, nuts, olives, and more. We also enjoyed their very good side dish of plaintains with sweet potatos. Service was good.
