Good food and service

We got a seat easily despite peak dining time and no reservation. A really good place lots of atmosphere and good food. We had the tuna cerviche starters, and vegetable paella which was very tasty.

I have to admit that I'm not a big tapas fan. I always seem to leave tapas restaurants hungry and broke. Cascal was quite good. Was with a large group so we ordered a variety of plates, every one of them delicious. Good sangria and cachaca (did I spell that correctly?). Nice atmosphere and good service.

Great food, especially salads & tapas, cold & hot. Imaginative and -- crucially! -- excellent takes on a wide array of traditional mediterranean AND latin dishes and beverages. Attentive service in an open, sizable but well-moderated, naturally lit indpor/outdoor corner venue. Solo, with friends, or on a family outing, cascal is a comfortable, friendly, and mightily tasty winner. We WILL... More

Visited for lunch and sat outside watching the world go by. Excellent, friendly service and a good choice of dishes. I will certainly return.

I went there several times. Every time we had tapas (small bites). I had 2 different kind of wine and both are good. They have some good cocktail too, but I forgot what my friends ordered :) It has outside sitting and heater outside, which are very nice. Our waiter and waitress were very good too. It's kind of price... More

This is by far my favorite place to eat. The food is amazing (tuna ceviche and lamb ribs are the best). The staff is amazing, kind and patient. The location is hard to beat. Often downtown will have festivals or events and they tend to center around California and Castro, so you are in a great spot for everything. Just... More

We dropped in for a business dinner and really enjoyed sitting on the patio. There is a lot of seating inside and outside, nice spacing between tables. There were a lot of selections and each was wonderful. The seafood tapas were the best. The bread and olive oil is very tasty.

There are over 250 restaurants listed on TA in Mountain View. This one was in the top 5 and the best place to get your Spanish tapas fix in the area. It's colorful, they offer indoor as well as outdoor seating, and has been rated as one of the best single scenes restaurants south of SF by Zagat. Furthermore, it... More

Excellent tapas style restaurant, the lamb was especially good (so good in fact we ordered 3 more!). Every dish was well presented and came in excellent time. Good beer selection and nice atmosphere within. Will be back!

Loved the atmosphere particularly with all the outdoor tables but wasn't so impressed with the food. It was good but was expecting a lot more.
