The live music on Friday and Saturday night are a lot of fun. The tapas can be quite good. I find the Moroccan meatballs to be superb. The bartender mixes good drinks and is friendly. I have not yet been overly excited about the full meals. The atmosphere is classy. The crowd is friendly and lively.

Friends took me to the Cascal, and recommended the paella; it was so good I came again... The food is rich and tasty, and there's nothing like tapas, paella, and a glass of Sangria for a relaxing dinner. Note the place is immensely popular; reserving a table is recommended.

Amazing food with amazing flavors! We loved this busy huge restaurant that is vibrant and busy. Food ordered and came out very fast. We had the cerviche trio, a lage meal with chops, flank steak and several tapas - all amazing. We ended with the Tres Leche and Flan dessert - wonderful. We felt it was value well spent and... More

The food was OK, not OMG amazing. It wasn't cheap. The ambience is nice. I liked the décor, down to the glassware. It's a nice place for a special occasion.

We brought a party of 8 on Friday night - the place was packed to overflowing before 7pm, and was still packed hours later. The overflow probably accounts for part of the crowd at Scotts, Scratch, and Shivas. We shared a wide variety of tapas, including hearts of palm, scallop ceviche, whitefish ceviche, beef taquitos, queso fundido, and gazpacho -... More

We were pleasantly suprised at how delicious the food was here. We had the hearts of palm salad, very fresh and citrus-like. We also had the calamari and rock shrimp - so good with not too much coating with lots of light flavouring. The short braised ribs were so tender in a lovely gravey with a great piece of corn... several of friends suggested to come here to a gathering dinner. Great place and great food. very impressed. The portion of tapas fit to our group size very well. We shared the dishes and would be able to taste lots of different food, that's what I really like. The Paella was the best so far I had in bay area.... More

The atmosphere was very nice and they were very accommodating. We had a fairly large party and they were able to seat us in a timely fashion. The restaurant was a but crowded and hard to walk through but the food was very good. We got the sampler of tapas and the pomberry mojito, and the paella was amazing (... More

Friends took me here for my birthday. They eat here occasionally. I was impressed with the decor and the very good service as well as the food and variety. We shared the tapas sampler and a seafood paella. As good as any I've had in Spain. We shared a dessert as well, the pumpkin bread pudding with delicious bourbon caramel... More
