Very good food. Just as good as my last visit 3 yrs ago. Business trip and decided to try again since it was good first visit. Recommend highly. Yummy black beans. Salsa. Corn pudding , small scoop you get with each plate. Service was a little slow this time.

But not anymore. The place was nearly empty on a Monday night except for the kids behind me watching a movie on the ipad at full blast. Service was slow to even bring a glass of water. Top shelf margarita was good. The tamale and taco's were kind of bland, no character at all. There are a lot of finer... More

I have been to a lot of Mexican Restaurants, and this one was an ok find on the El Camino in Mountain View. Standard fare, typically decorated Mexican, reasonably priced, but service was very slow concidering that the restaurant only had a few tables being waited on. Most of the limited staff was busy doing I don't know what, while... More

I saw an ad in Sunday's paper for 2 meals for $15 at Chevy's, so off we went. After driving 4.7 miles and going through 17 street lights, we arrived at Chevy's in Mountain View off of Rengstorff. The restaurant overlooks El Camino Real, the main drag in Silicon Valley, stretching 50 miles from San Bruno to east San Jose.... More

Pretty standard Mexican. We wish the quality is given over quantity though. Our server was also way too busy being bartender by herself.

We used an Entertainment $10 off with minimum purchase of $30 coupon to dine at Chevy's Fresh Mex in Mountain View. Chevys had undergone bankruptcy, with many restaurants closed for good. The Mountain View restaurant is one of the few that still remained. We don't dine here very often, as despite the short 6 mile distance from our home, there... More

Went to lunch to discuss business and found the restaurant to be a little slow. Our host and server Jose was terrific. He wrote our orders down to ensure their accuracy and was very friendly. The food was prepared promptly and he checked with us several times to ensure we were pleased. The Tortilla soup was warm and delicious. The... More

We have eaten at Chevy's in other cities and it is always good and we always get plenty to eat. We ordered fajitas for two. We were served 1 order with two plates. We were still hungry because we had not eaten all day. When we asked the waiter he said well I would have had to charge you more.... More
