Nice place and Good food

The place is nice and the food is really tasty. I went with firends but is also good for romantic dinner or for family dinner as well. We had the somosa for appetizer they were crunchy and the stuffing was really good. And I try the chicken with yellow curry that was delicious. My friends had the... read more

I am coming to this place for 10 or 15 years, every time when I am in the area for business. This time I had my wife and two sons (3.5 and 5.5 years old) with me. I love sitting outside on Castro and have dinner but this time it was too cold so we got a table inside immediately... More

Panang Duck was excellent except the skin could have been made crispy. Service was excellent. Environment was clean, relaxing and friendly. I would eat here again and again!

What a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch - from Spicy Basil Pork to Pad-Thai to Noodles, no one was disappointed!

Ate after the lunch rush - only one or two other tables in use. Good food, prompt service - the thai iced tea in particular was a highlight on a strangely warm September day!

Amarin is quite similar to the other Thai restaurants in the area, but the food is perhaps a bit better. This time we felt more adventurous so ordered some less standard items (including a dish where I couldnt really tell what I was eating ... ), it all tasted great. The restaurant is usually very full, so make a reservation.

Many original dishes, not demeaned by adding sugar for Americal palates. Shady front and back patios.Arty interior, some sunken group seating.Consistently "Best Thai" in local weeklies.Reasonable prices, regular, vegetarian and lunch menus. Brown, white, and garlic rices.Mango desserts use top quality velvety fruits.

Very average Thai food. Convenient location on Castro Street. The restaurant is two "storefronts" combined, so there are quite a few tables inside, and also a good size seating area outside. The waiter recommended the yellow curry with chicken - the flavor was good but the chicken had not been trimmed/cleaned properly so there was a bit of gristle. The... More

This food serves the best Thai food in the region. The ambiance is fantastic with always buzzing crowd and cheerful waiters always ready to help in choosing the right food. The vegetarian spring roll was worth dying for and even the main course what ever you order is always worth cherishing. A must place for all the food lovers.

A few friends and I from work visited for dinner. The menu is large with a great variety. Service was good and overall it was good value for money. We were all a little disappointed with our dishes as they were a little on the bland side. It's good Thai food but I've had better.
