One of the best restaurants I have dined in

Comfort food that resembles the ones i have grows up eating. I am a vegetarian and love spicy food. This is one place outside India where I enjoy trie spicy food. The spicy basil fried rice is my all time favorite.

Amarin Thai serves some great thai food with some quick service. Perfect for a nice meal with your family. The flavours are impressive and the staff is helpful.

We were cruising the main street in Mountainview There are many places to eat here and after an hour in the BookSeller our appetities were rewarded with a Thai diner as good as anywhere we have travelled If you are so so on spices stick to the Zero peppers on the menu I had a single pepper and it was... Definitely passable as authentic Thai cuisine but it simply isn't a place where you'll be impressed by the food served nor by its service. Most Thai staples like the Tom Yum Soup, Som Tum, Tord Mun Pla were all above average but far from memorable. However, I do recommend anyone craving Thai food and not wanting to break the bank... Very disappointing. Restaurant in perfect location and attractive interior but food was so less than average. Not very hot, huge , unappealing chunks of dark meat, no white meat in the Panang. Pad Thai was lukewarm, dry, but again did not look very appealing. And when you order an entrée, that is all you get. Service was also average.

Wanted to dine in here but it was busy on a Friday night and we were tired so I decided to get take-out instead. Order only took about 15 minutes to come. Soft shell crab wasn't particularly good by the time we got to eat it (about 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant), but other dishes were fine and value... More

I have not been to this restaurant for many years, so when we walked by & thinking of Thai, I couldn't remember anything negative about it. Perhaps after I pen a review, I will remember it better. We had the tom yum soup, papaya salad & pineapple fried rice. The soup was very average, consisted of prawn, mushroom & not... More

We ordered boned Cornish Hen and Pad Thai. The poultry was neither Cornish Hen or boned. I asked the waiter to show me the menu in case I had made a mistake in my order. Then about 5 waitstaff stood around the table while I explained the problem. Then they all walked away without offering any solution or explanation. Food... More

This review is based on several bad experiences at Amarin Thai. While this was a good Thai restaurant 3-4 years ago, it seems to have deteriorated significantly in the past 2 years. Below is just one example of why I think this place deserves the lowest rating possible: 1. Bad food: Once we ordered the Pad Thai for the (very... More
