Great travelzoo deal

Lunch deal $29 included large antipasto plate for 2 which was quite good, but lot of tiny pre-cooked shrimp would be better at just 2 large grilled shrimp. 2 mains included NY steak with mashers/vegs. Good size and tasty. Risotto del mare. Plenty of shellfish and good size. Broth so-so. Service... read more

1. Needs a major MAKE OVER this was such a nice looking resturant 15 years ago and possible one of the fancy ones at that time on Castro street. It is need of a makeover especially the drab outside. With all the new restaurants coming in it makes it look more tired. 2. The food is still GOOD quality but... More

I had an exceptional dinner with wonderful service. I ordered Fettuchine de Mare. The sauce was excellent and had fresh tomatoes and looked home made. The sea food was plentiful with lots of prawns, scallops, and squid. Complementing this was a glass of house Malbec which was excellent as well. One other diner at the table had a seafood in... together with the Mongolian BBQ across the street, this is probably one of the oldest restaurant on Castro street. Still serves up one of the best pasta, reasonable priced good wire that pairs well with the well seasoned food here. The service were good, friendly but lack attention to detail. Do not forget this place when you visit Castro street... More

Could not decide where to go on Castro Street in Mountain View and decided that we all wanted Italian Food. We sat outside, although a bit cold, but nice. Service was good. We had an appetizer or carpaccio (sp?) and it was good, enough for 2 people, although there were three of us. We all ordered different dishes. I had... More

Great Italian in the heart of mountain view. Food is very good with service to match. We had a set menu for a work function which was very good and a surprise compared to most set menus. Worth a visit.

So, we set out for dinner on Father/Daughter night and my daughter picks this restaurant while driving by to find parking. My heart was set on Chinese food that night but she insisted on this perfect little Italian restaurant we passed just 5 minutes earlier in the village. I order some white wine and she had ice tea. We had... More

I've been to this restaurant several times before over the past few years when I come to Mountain View on business. Food is very good and the service is usually very good also. Went to dinner there by myself last night and sat at the counter. The person who greeted me , John I believe is the owner. He didn't... More

Four of us ate early dinner here recently after a matinee at the Mountain View Performing Arts Centre. Food, portions, atmosphere, wine, and prices were good. Service was excellent. Not too noisy, but we were early so don't know how good it was later on. Eggplant Parmesan was disappointing. Hard to find the eggplant in the mushy topping with spaghetti.... More

15 of us just had dinner there for a birthday party. 5 kids 8-13 They gave us the big private room and our server was excellent ... The fresh mozzarella and roasted vegetables were very tasty. Entres were very good...a very wide range of wine selection. Kudos... That's beyond what I had expected. Really above average for our area which... More
