Good food and great service

I adore the cinnamon-rice and veggies. Everything here tastes great, and is cooked well. It is all a bit glistening and heavy, but not egregiously so. Check about the meat to veggie balance of specific dishes, some of them are pretty much vegetable free, but you might not notice that on the menu. Super sage and mint tea.

This restaurant does try. However, from the obviously previously frozen, battered squid to the "machine engine" olive oil, the food is stodgy. I feel sorry about writing this because the staff are genuinely efficient and kind.

Had dinner at this place one night. Great and plentiful food - had fried calamari as a starter, and also some dish that came along with cinnamon rice. Loved the cinnamon rice, and I am writing the review primarily to record that. Good service, seems that the restaurant is family run; a job well done. I would go there again.

True to its Turkish roots, the pastry (bocha, simit, etc) are absolutely wonderful. The breakfasts are very generous and everyone was clearly enjoying the great variety of appetizers. Try the Turkish tea or the apple tea (elma chai). It isn't fancy but it is all about the quality of food at very reasonable prices particularly since this is such an... More

The food was tasty (I ordered one of the signature dish, calamari, and another appetizer that I forgot the name), it wasn't awesome or mind blowing but pretty fair with interesting flavors. The price was way below what I expected, the cost-benefit is amazing! The staff was cordial, but could be better.

I really enjoy Mediterranean food no matter where I go, so when I had the chance to try a new restaurant in Mountain View I got pretty excited. We all ordered different apps and entrees so we could share. I always like to start with the hummus, tabbouli, stuffed grape leaves, baba ganoush, etc. just to get an idea of... More

We had a great meal and experience - on a super busy night, Ephesus came through for us. One entree was a little overdone, and a salad not up to snuff, or this would be 5 stars - but darn close, and we'll be back to take another crack at it. Still one of the best restaurants on the super-competitive... More

I had the lamb shish which was good but not great. The broccoli had some yellow in it and the carrots were tough and bland. My father had the lamb chops, but found them too salty. Perhaps another day or a different menu selection would have been better. The service was reasonable.
