We had a nice time @Sakoon. Went for buffet. Line was long. They should have arranged more counters so it can accommodate more people.
Sakoon is what I would consider moderate to upscale Indian dining. But it's great value for the money, with reliable, tasty food and a nice, cozy ambiance. Sakoon is good for large groups as well as for intimate dinners. Full bar with a good selection of specialty cocktails in addition to the usual favorites. Indian beer on tap! Food is... More
I am a regular at this place. Good food especially the weekend buffet. The food is usually fresh. There are some specials that one should look out for on weekdays. Comes to about $20 per head with a drink. Worth the money. Please reserve before you visit due to the long wait (20 minutes)
We were there for the Saturday lunch buffet. You do need reservations. It was packed. The food was tasty and the ingredients really fresh. They had at least 4 appetizers. They had some one mix fresh Bhel. It is really good. I loved their fish on the tava. Service was also very good. The décor was very well done.
we went for a dinner on a weekday. Tried the vegetarian food. The taste was fine but definitely lacks the authentic Indian flavor. Service was acceptable provided the heavy rush there. Would recommend a prior reservation before visiting. Can be given a try but carries few options for vegetarians.
I found this restaurant very good. Upscale compared to other Indian places. Good Ambience and service. Food was nice too. We tried Channa, Kofta, Biryani. Taste was nice. I would go again and try food at Sakoon.
