Good local restaurant

The four of us ate at Lily's on what turned out to be Wednesday sushi night. It was very busy and took a while to get seated and served food-about 90 mins beginning to end. The waitstaff were very friendly and apologized for the wait. Two of us had the herb-stuffed Idaho trout and the other two had... read more

that we dined here two nights in a row. It has been my husband's little treat every time he descended from Shasta summit. This occasion we came for a long weekend get-away. I was here the first time and pleasantly surprised with the foods and the service. The wagyu style beef burger is fantastic -- brioche bun toasted to crispy... More

Food was very overcooked. Service was very slow. Wait time over an hour for the burger. Disappointed.

Came here for dinner at the end of the night. Service was nice but a bit slow. My husband and I shared the cheese plate (amazing!) and the halibut special (black rice, oyster mushrooms, miso-like sauce; it was earthy and lovely). And dessert was decadent. I can't wait to come back here.

A small converted house. Lovely setting. The food, from appetizer through dessert was delectable. The wait staff prompt and caring.

I had a flank steak with a salsa that was to die for--We shared an apertiser that was cheese based--- both were excelant die for---it was amazing. They allowed us to bring in our own wine and the corkage fee was reasonable.

This place is okay, but lacks subtlety. We were a party of four. The trout and the black cod dishes were appreciated. The poor delicate scallops were teriyakeed to death and the garlic in the chimichurra sauce overpowered the steak. The server was very nice, the portions were very large and two of us felt kind of ripped off.

We arrived for a late breakfast and had the whole place to ourselves, we had missed the rush. Clean and quaint with a bit of a view. The food was good. We would return the next time we pass through and try lunch or dinner.

The food was very good; I had an herb stuffed trout that was delicious and my wife had a pork chop (a touch on the dry side for me, but admittedly she likes it that way). Server was friendly, competent. The restaurant is in a renovated house, a notch or two above casual; more suited for adults than families with... More
