Great Breakfast

Food was excellent and service too. Just a small place on Hwy 1. Only thing was that the prices where a couple dollars more than listed on the TripAdvisor Menu.

Intrigued by the idea of fried artichokes we pulled up at this roadside cafe off highway one, just south of Moss Landing. Waled in, friendly greeting from the server, cafe was fairly full, most seemed to be regular customers, always a good sign. A portion of artichokes together with an oyster sandwich hit the spot. If the cafe wasn't thousands... More

We drove up to Moss Landing for lunch on a Sunday. Oops. Lots of traffic. And very few places to eat actually on Highway One from Santa Cruz to Monterey, except for a couple of spots in Moss Landing, which is mid-way down the Central Coast along Monterey Bay. The Whole Enchilada was packed, so we drove around and found... More

We stopped for lunch after exploring the Elkhorn Estuary Reserve. The Cajun fish tacos were good, but the California fish sandwich was extraordinary!! It was a little warm inside...a nice problem for us Oregonians to experience in March!

My brother in law and I ate a great breakfast with large portions and terrific service at Moss Landing Cafe. The food is homemade with a large variety of wonderful breakfast combinations. The place is a no frills, simple yet hardy. The waitress was extremely accommodating and friendly. Easily accessible, just off the road, ample parking, worth the stop for... More

We come here each year. The breakfasts are wonderful, be it a scramble or their french toast. Not crazy about their coffee or hot chocolate but the food is terrific.

My spouse and a guest ate a late brunch at the cafe. It is really a destination. In spite of appearances, it is vey well managed. It was hard to make a choice from the menu and all the selections are from the place. The food was good but not overwhelming. I would add the Moss Landing Cafe as a... More

We were driving around Castroville and Moss Landing at 6:00 AM looking for a place to get breakfast and the Moss Landing Cafe was the only place we could find. The menu choices were reasonably priced despite the fact that there were lots of artichoke and sea food options. I had the Castroville Omelet and Sandi had Ham& Eggs. The... More

I wouldn't say it's the kind of place you should drive to Moss Landing for, but if you were already in the area, I would definitely tell you that I know the perfect place for breakfast. I ordered fresh fish (cod) and eggs. The portions were large, and the food tasted very fresh, not at all greasy. I wasn’t even... More

Moss Landing Cafe is one of the go-to spots that keeps people coming back to Moss Landing. They serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, and gourmet dinners on the weekends. A little on the pricey side, the flavors and portions are such that you walk away very satisfied.
