This is a favorite gettaway of the family in Salinas. We have visited there and patronized the Sea Harvest several times. The food is always fresh and the cooking good but there are problems with the layout. For some reason, we wind up at the nortwesterly corner, the tables there back to the restroom doors. Which latter seem to be... More

Had the roasted garlIc appetizer. Excellent. Also had the Crab Chiopinno. The coconut prawns/Shrimp also yummy. The sea otters and sea loins playing were great entertainment too

There was a huge line at Phil's so we decided to try something else. What a nice surprise we had. Good fish and chips and we had some clam chowder. The chowder was good. I have had better but still good. Nice view of the harbor and jetty.

We stopped here for lunch after a run on the local beach. Was a great choice. We had roasted garlic and eggplant with goats cheese complemented by a Russian River white that was percent. For the main we had two whole crabs which was a lot of work but tasty and worth it. Our daughter had the clam chowder in... More

Great fresh fish at an excellent price with some great natural beauty built in. Don't let the PG&E power plant scare you away. this restaurant on the Elkhorn slough is an excellent place to eat fresh fish. The food is awesome and is much cheaper than in Santa Cruz or Monterey. The view of local wildlife can't be beat. Take... More

We have eaten at this restaurant for many years. We travel to this area two or three times a year and always include a visit to the Sea Harvest as part of our trip. The fish is always fresh and deliciously prepared. The view is the fun part. There is always interesting mammals and sea birds to watch because of... More

Fabulous view, best place in California to see Sea Otters up close. Food good and reasonably priced. Not quite as good as nearby Phil's Fish Market but still fine. Visit on your way south, left turn to northbound 1 is awful. Loved my scallops and chowder. Service excellent.

We arrived in a group of six, were seated and ordered. Four friends arrived 20 minutes later. We asked the server(s) to seat them with us (there were plenty of free tables). "No." The manager and his assistant got involved. We asked to be seated in the same room. "No" (even though there were tables free all over the place).... More

Fish is fresh and amazing. Had the mahi mahi on top of Cesar salad. Grilled to perfection. Very simple restaurant, but amazing view of the harbor. Food was fresh and delicious. Dined on the enclosed deck outside which was very nice. Service was good and it was nice that the chef came out and inquired as to how the meal... More

We were caught in heavy traffic and saw this place and decided to stop for dinner. I had a fish sampler on a skewer. The salmon was melt in my mouth awesome and the other fish was excellent. The tomato bisque was a wonderful start to this wonderful meal. Worth the stop!
