I have been going to the Distillery since the early 60's when it was called the Galloway Bay Inn. I know live in San Diego, and don't go there as I did in the 60's and early 70's. I do miss the place. The Food has always been good and the Drinks great, and the Bar tenders are very friendly.... More

This is an old, old bar and restaurant that has many a story of past times. killer location on the coast. Staff is always good and the drinks are great. A hot drink on a cold coast foggy day...

The Distillery has a long history in Moss Beach, so we stopped by for a cocktail. The view is fabulous and the bartenders were all from the area, so shared many great stories of the past. We didn't eat, so I can't speak to that, but the decks were full of people eating and no one was complaining. It's a... More

On the top of a cliff, 4 separate areas (bars, restaurant), including a spectacular terrace, where they lit the fire in the evening. A sort of opportunity to experience life in the Moss Beach area. It seems ideal for couples and families, but business meals may work well too. Only few were dressed up. I had a very good meal,... More

Not to be blunt...but you don't go here for the over priced average food. You go here to grab a cocktail or some wine and sit out back by the fire pit and take in some of the greatest views of Northern California there is to offer. Period.

I took my husband here for his birthday dinner, and the waitstaff did such a fantastic job surprising him! 😊 We were given a lovely table next to the window to watch the beautiful sunset! The food was really good and the views are fantastic. Great experience!

The Moss Beach Distillery is kind of tucked away, sort of behind the Half Moon Bay airport. It's a little more challenging to get to than some of its better known neighbors (like Sam's Chowder House), but it's worth the visit, at least once. The establishment is cool enough that my rating got a bit of a boost just for... More

The distillery had a really nice view. Our table was right next to the window so it was nice after being on a plane for 6 hours, to sit and take in the view. We had lunch in addition to wine and oyster shooters with vodka. Service was good, lunch was good. We had a good time.

This is a hidden jewel right on the cliffs above the Pacific Ocean....be careful, you may miss the turn! You may sit inside upstairs or enjoy the outdoor patio downstairs with fire pit, chairs, and blankets, if it is cool. Sit by the fire and enjoy your favorite drink while the sun is setting or just enjoy the views. If... More

The Distillery has beautiful views and a dog-friendly patio. Other than that, I'd find another option.
