The best bakery in town

Everything is great here. Ordered my wife's bday cake from here, and everyone commented on how light and delicious it was. Pastries are excellent. My wife and daughter loved the ministrone soup and my other daughter loved the french dip. A must stop in Morro Bay or anywhere near by.

The pastries looked good, but the espresso is horrible. They either need a new machine or better espresso beans or training... Something. That espresso was really bad.

We called in for lunch and couldn't go past the salmon and leek quiche. The pastry was light and buttery (and cooked to perfection) whilst the filling was creamy and tasteful. It was also set just right, not over cooked like so many are

Ok, so full disclosure, I was in the bakery business for 25 years and am so what of a bakery snob, that said for what they specialize in pastrys tortes quiche they do a very good job at this bakery. The product looked super ! I was looking for baguette however and while there's was fresh it was made from... More

I go there regularly. The owner is wonderful. Everyone loves her. The pastry is delicious. They also have quiche, cakes, cookies and bread. Buy a baguette and make believe you are in Paris!! It also has tea, hot chocolate, and coffee, including cappuccino and lattes. It is open every day, except Tuesday, until 5:00PM. A great place to start the... More

And sandwiches too. But really the best bakery items around at very reasonable prices. Service is friendly and fast. Dining both in and outside. Although on the embarcadero, not a for-the-view place to go.

Excellent sandwiches. You can work up an appetite just by looking at all the wonderful pastries and breads on display. Do not go there if you are in a hurry as the service is somewhat slow. The sign on the front of the store only says "bakery" and not "La Parisienne", but the food more than makes up for this.

Needed a sandwich for dinner while we watched the National Championship (football) Game and La Parisienne fit the bill perfectly. Mom and I ordered breakfast sandwiches which were very good. Other offerings looked while tasty but that wasn't what we needed. Maybe next time.

This bakery started in the central valley south of Fresno. When it left town and came to Morro Bay we lost heaven. Every time we visit the coast this is a required stop. A true delight for the taste buds!

We had a brunch of filled croissant and a slice of quiche, saving some room for pastries for dessert, washed down with good coffee and a hot tea, sitting outside looking at the ubiquitous Rock. This is not fancy, what you see is what you get, but if we'd needed to eat more breakfasts or brunches out we'd have made... More
