Before reading further, if you intend to dine with romance and ambiance, Dockside is not the restaurant for you. Know what to expect! It, and their other two side by side restaurants, (Dockside Too, and 3) are located on the edge of commercial fishing docks. While dining, one often sees fishing boats off loading their fresh catches, with pelicans, sea... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Swordfish was excellent and the my wife's fish and chips was just as good. Service great and just right for the evening. This is a don't miss.

Only second time we've been here. Love the scallops, but a little too high priced for me. Great seafood pasta.

Yep, it was swordfish and I underdstand they just got a batch in. It was the sweetest, juiciest, swordfish I have ever tasted - grilled just right. That said, it seems that's the only thing that's good about out dinner, other than the price. The clam chowder was too thick and all we could taste was the cream - what... More

The Halibut Provincial was heaven on a plate! Everyone raved about the scalloped potatoes. Every meal was perfectly prepared and served piping hot. There were a few in our party that tend to be very challenging to serve (special requests, being somewhat demanding) and our server was simply lovely in how she handled them. I would recommend getting a reservation... More

When we are in town we always go here. There are two places, one inside restaurant and one outside. They are not physically connected to each other, but they are very close. The inside dining has a larger variety, the outside, on a beautiful day, for me, it's just heaven. The outside usually has live music played by a funky,... More

We got a whole chicken "to go" and enjoyed every bite. The chicken has a wonderful marinade and the flesh is so juicy and perfectly rotisserie cooked. It is on the top of our list for favorite chickens of all times.

I had the shrimp tacos, my husband had the fish/chips. The fish portions were large and seemed perfectly cooked - more fish than batter. My shrimp were decent sized, not baby. Outdoor patio dining very casual but great to see the boats the otters and hear the birds. A seagull sat on the railing next to us the whole time... More

My in-laws, my wife and I eat at Tognazzini any time we visit Morro Bay. The restaurant is located right on the ocean, under the three tall towers of the now decommissioned powerplant. We all have our favorites (I like fish and chips, the bread bowl with either the bisque or the clam chowder and the calamari steak sandwich), but... More

Actually Tognazzini's Dockside have 3 restaurants, it's Dockside Restaurant, Dockside too(Fishmarket) and Dockside 3(Smoke house). We go to the Dockside restaurant for the first night, but when we got there. they are out of oysters, actually we go there is for the different style of oysters, but unfortunately we can only have clams and grilled fish. The clams is very... More
