ok fish

We went to the restaurant and ordered the fish and chips. The fries were very good and so was the clam chowder. The fish on the other hand was not very appetizing and still think Rose's Landing had the best fish.

We have eaten at Tognazzini's on numerous occasions. The specialty dishes have proved to be excellent on my last two visits. The chef on these occasions presented the entre with flavors/ingredients that added to and blended perfectly with the fresh fish.

After asking a few locals and getting the same recommendation from all of them, we went to The dockside. This is the quintessential family style restaurant right on the fishing dock. We loved their food so much we went there two nights in a row while we were in Morro Bay for a short getaway. I had a seafood spaghetti... More

We have been here many times and think this is the greatest place to eat on the central coast if you want local atmosphere, great seafood and friendly service. Inside restaurant is great, but we love to hang outside on patio after lunch listening to funky live music and enjoying the dock atmosphere. Nothing fancy except good memories!

We stopped here after the #1 seafood restaurant, Galley's, had a hour wait and a local pointed us here. So glad we did! The person who greeted us had a fantastic humor and put us at ease instantly. We knew this was our kind of place. We went way overboard on the food since we come from the desert and... More

The restaurant was packed and there was a 30 minute wait so we just got clam chowder to go. We took it back to our hotel room and it was the best I have ever had. I also got a salad and it was really fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend it.

The Dockside was recommended to me during a hunting trip, by someone who is used to good, local, fresh food. So, I figured it would have to be fresh. Always the first consideration for seafood!! I wasn't disappointed. They start everyone with warm bread and garlic butter, and a plate of pickled vegetables. I followed that with a really nice... More

I had a delicious meal here for a very reasonable price. The fish was fresh and cooked just right. It was nice to be able to look out over the harbor and also watch people walk by.

This is a very nice seafood restaurant that is well thought of locally. The fish is local and fresh, well cooked and nicely presented. The ambiance is good, but a little quirky, not too romantic. The wait can be a little during peak hours, but it usually goes pretty fast. Although it is on the embarcadero, there isn't one of... More

This place has wonderful seafood options! ALSO, They have a fresh fish market! We are campers and every single time we come to Morro Bay State park we stop here at the Dockside Fish market and buy the fresh (catch of the day) and take it back to camp. Seared AHI is our all time favorite. Also, try their canned... More
