The food here was excellent, and the staff was really friendly! ! However, the seating arrangements are weird with self-seating but it's not that bad when the food is involved!! I had a breakfast burrito and it was huge! Couldn't finish it all.

The clam chowder bread bowl was excellent, especially the bread! The pastrami sandwich was a tasty treat. Food was better than average, and the views were remarkable!

Whether you sit outside on the pet friendly patio, behind the glass enclosures or inside the cafe, the food is delicious and attractively served. We returned the second day because the specials were terrific one day one. We were not disappointed the second time around. Both times we sat outside and watched the seals frolic in the water as the... More

My daughter and I spent four days in Morro Bay with our dogs. After our first late breakfast, in the rain, we went back each day, sitting on the patio with a beautiful view of the rock. The wait staff was super-friendly and fun and they interacted with the dogs. The Hollandaise sauce was the best I ever had.

By luck, we visited Morro Bay and were able to see the "Martha Washington" (also known as the "Black Pearl" from the Pirates movies) and the Hawaiian ship she travels with from our window seat at the Blue Skye. Our server and the rest of the staff were quick and friendly, and our food was excellent. Prices are reasonable for... More

The barrista actually understood coffee and could discuss what he was about. No where else in our three week trip did we find this level of competency.

Was pleased that we were given a flyer on the sidewalk, and decided to give it a go. Delicious, wonderful view, and friendly staff.

We started our latest Morro Bay long weekend with lunch at the Blue Skye. My boyfriend enjoyed the clam chowder/turkey sandwich combo and I had the BLT on sourdough. The food was fresh and very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. And, of course, the view and outside dog-friendly patio were lovely. Prices were OK (nothing on the Embarcadero is... More

Had breakfast here. Nice portions and fresh ingredients. Great latte. Every seat inside has a nice view and there are plenty of tables outside. Service was also very good.

AJ our server was fantastic! Clam chowder and turkey sandwich were so good. Sat outside and enjoyed the scenery and the sounds of the sea lions. Definitely one of the best restaurants in town.
