My husband & I were in Morro ay for one night and walked up and down the street looking for a nice/reasonable restaurant with a full bar. As we did not think to make reservations anywhere we decided to try Dutchman and it was a very wise decision. Staff was super friendly when we entered and seated us right overlooking... More

We have eaten at this restaurant many times in previous years ( was called the Flying Dutchman) but were pleasantly surprised to see it had been upgraded/ remodeled since the last time we visited ( over a year ago). I tried the halibut special and it was yummy. A little over- priced ( $27) for what you get but it... More

Very good view of the bay and Morro Rock. Whenever my wife and I are in Morro Bay we eat at the Dutchman because they have a good burger (for her) and good fish-n-chips (for me) for a reasonable price. The service has always been good and everyone there is friendly.

Great view and really good fish and chips. Reasonable price. There was about a 20 minute waiting list but we were seated immediately in the bar area with a great view. Really good and fast service. Much quicker then in the regular dining area. Our fish place of choice in Morro Bay.

I've been to this restaurant before as I'm Dutch myself.. There is nothing " Dutch" about this restaurant other than the owners emigrated from there just like myself We stopped in for lunch today after a fishing trip and it wasn't very busy so service was very quick and friendly. The location right on the water is also quite nice... More

great view of the harbor, however the food is not good and expensive for even what it is. The service was not that friendly either

Excellent restaurant overlooking the ocean and 5 mins walk from our comfort in hotel. We had 1 portion of popcorn shrimp and calamari to start shared between 4 was more than enough and the fish and chips, again large portions. Very good service and excellent food

Great hearty meal and good value for money. Nice place to watch the sunset over the rock. Will come back again if in the area.

We enjoyed our late evening meal. Service was good, food was good. Tried a new wine, Lucy Pinot Rose. Loved the location, right on the water.
