We went into this restaurant after we could not get service at the bar at another location, the bartender and hostess were so friendly and service was top notch, calamari was excellent too

Excellent restaurant overlooking the ocean and 5 mins walk from our comfort in hotel. We had 1 portion of popcorn shrimp and calamari to start shared between 4 was more than enough and the fish and chips, again large portions. Very good service and excellent food

Great hearty meal and good value for money. Nice place to watch the sunset over the rock. Will come back again if in the area.

We enjoyed our late evening meal. Service was good, food was good. Tried a new wine, Lucy Pinot Rose. Loved the location, right on the water.

My wife and I were visiting my brother-in-law and his wife in Morro Bay. He took us to lunch to his favorite fish/shrimp and chips cafe, Dutchman's right on the water. We were seated at the window over looking the harbor. We had the fish and shrimp with garlic chips. Excellent! Also had the clam chowder. Again excellent. For the... More

We both had fish and chips which were very good -- the price was normal for the area. We have eaten at several places in Morro Bay and they all seem to be good.

With the family cruising in the states west coats. We had a hotel in Morro Bay, so close to the ocean we thoughed seafood would be fine. In an other restaurant we had to wait for an hour so we went to the Dutchman. Although the menu suggested it is a seafood restaurant, there is little seafood on the menu.... More

Our last night in Morro Bay and we weren't sure where to eat. We were on our way to another restaurant when we spotted the "Dutchman". As the main restaurant was full, we agreed to sit in an adjacent covered patio which turned out to be perfect. The space was quiet and it was within earshot of two buskers -... More

We were here last year and returned to another great seafood dinner. Good service good chowder and great food but I really love their bread pudding. My granddaughter thought it tasted like my french toast casserole. Delicious you must try it.

We were seated at a table by the window with a gorgeous water view. The service was great- our waitress was very friendly and our order was brought out quickly. Unfortunately, the clam chowder had very little taste and our steamed clams had a strange salty aftertaste. On an upside, the rootbeer was super cold and delicious. 5 stars for... More
