Great place along the Morro Bay quayside. Good value for money. Friendly efficient staff. Ask for a table by the window as they have great views over the bay.

Last Sunday we visited Cayucos, California. The tiny eating places in Cayucos were way overcrowded. Tiny, inadequate facilities with inadequate seating for seniors and small children. We got into our car and drove the 10 miles to Morro Bay and ate at the Dutchman's Seafood House. Our fish and chips meal was very good. Good selection of food and very... More

Enjoyed an early evening dinner on a Wednesday at Dutchman's. We vacation in the area every summer for two weeks. We always eat here at least once. The fish and chips were excellent, as always. The clam chowder was good, but not as tasty as I remember. The shrimp cocktail was very tasty and well priced. Service was good. Best... More

Weekend dinner while visiting Morro Bay. Food was good, fish was fresh. Service was attentive and friendly. We had quite a chat with the server, who explained to us where the fish came from and what was good that day, where the oysters usually came from, and so on. Kid friendly. Good choice for a family place to eat.

Went here for fish and chips, which is good here (they use a batter instead of breadcrumbs, as it should be). Fish was fresh. Also ordered a shrimp salad which was ok, nothing too fancy. Service is good, people are nice and friendly.

We had to wait 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday night in summer which isn't bad for such a good restaurant. It was well worth the wait. Service was quick and attentive. Two of us had the fish and shrimp combo. The shrimps were big and succulent. The fish was flaky. My husband had fish and chips and... More

Good variety of seafood and a fine clam chowder. Great view of the rock and a beautiful sunset. Best value: House Chardonnay.

We actually ended up eating here twice even though there are dozens of restaurants in Morro Bay. The first time we stopped by for dinner after a long drive from Sacramento. I absolutely love calamari and was not disappointed with the calamari & chips served here. My husband had the clam chowder and pretty much "inhaled" his fish and chips.... More
