While Flying Dutchman will forever be a fond memory, Dutchman's Seafood House is a classy change that has become a great upscale option for fish and chips in Morro Bay. And believe it or not, they do offer more than just fish and chips! The also have a variety of great appetizers (our favorite is the calamari and the tangy-sweet... More

I have driven a couple of times from LA to Morro Bay and I always eat there. The fish and chips are fresh and I love the batter they use. For the prices they offer ( relatively inexpensive) it was good food and enjoyed looking at the Seagulls outside looking at us. In addition, we got to sit and enjoy... More

We stopped here on our way down the coast. It was mid afternoon so we missed the lunch and dinner crowds and got a window seat. The view was great. There was a lot of activity in and on the water. We each had a bowl of clam chowder and a salad. The bowl was thick and rich! Yum! The... More

Nice restaurant with good selection of good food. Sort of pricey, but that's expected in this area. Great views during the day.

Came in for happy hour to get a bite to eat and have a couple of cocktails. Wine was $4 a glass and good pricing on appetizers. We had oysters for $1.50 ea, some sort of deep fried fish dumpling (so good) and the hubby had a bja taco $3....he said it was the best $3 taco he ever ate!... More

We were seated immediately without a reservation early on New Year's Eve. Great view of the harbor, but we had to unscrew the lightbulb on the pendant light over the table because it was too bright. The waiter, who couldn't have been friendlier, said lots of people did that. The food was good--I had sanddabs, which was new to me... More

My wife and I decided to try the Dutchman. The staff was very friendly, and our waiter was very accommodating. They haven't updated their menu in awhile. They only list Clam Chowder by the bowl, but it is available by the cup. The Dutch Mussels are actually changed to a broth similar to steamers. It's actually very good, but instead... More

We drove up from Santa Barbara where we were vacationing for the week and had remembered what excellent fish and chips we had here. We were eager to do the same again and ordered the same fish and chips, although I traded my chips out for the onion rings. If you like chips but think about the onion rings do... More

I ordered an ordinary sandwich and it was anything but ordinary. It was delicious. The view was nice, looking over the ocean. My husband ordered some oysters and seafood. I didn't try any (I'm allergic) but he said it was good. We went on a weekend and it wasn't overly the tip busy. We were seated within 10 mins.

My Husband and I live in Oregon, traveled here to visit his parents. I looked up your establishment and your restraunt is rated 4 star.
