Nice Friendly Place with Good Food

We had dinner at Dutchman's and enjoyed it very much. Great views of Morro Bay and of course the rock from the large windows. I particularly liked the crab cakes, but everything was good. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly.

Great to sit on the waterside terrace with a beer watching to the seals and listening to their song...

After reading some of the bad reviews below, I can only say that I had a good experience at Dutchman's, and I would not hesitate to go back to see if I could replicate it with some other dish. I had the cioppino, which is a kind of tomato bisque that includes all sorts of little sea creatures and parts... More

We usually pop into Dutchman's Seafood House for Happy Hour, which is very good. But this time we had our anniversary dinner there. It was delicious. I had sand dabs with lemon caper sauce-yum. So tender and tasty. My husband had petrale sole, which he also said was excellent. We will return.

We went in for a midafternoon snack. The server was nice and very informative. We had one of the best fish and chips ever, and was ample of it for both of us. Enough to have some to take out for the birds.

We always stop on our first night in Morro Bay to have Shrimp Louis and Fish&Chips. Excellent food and service.

While Flying Dutchman will forever be a fond memory, Dutchman's Seafood House is a classy change that has become a great upscale option for fish and chips in Morro Bay. And believe it or not, they do offer more than just fish and chips! The also have a variety of great appetizers (our favorite is the calamari and the tangy-sweet... More

I have driven a couple of times from LA to Morro Bay and I always eat there. The fish and chips are fresh and I love the batter they use. For the prices they offer ( relatively inexpensive) it was good food and enjoyed looking at the Seagulls outside looking at us. In addition, we got to sit and enjoy... More

We stopped here on our way down the coast. It was mid afternoon so we missed the lunch and dinner crowds and got a window seat. The view was great. There was a lot of activity in and on the water. We each had a bowl of clam chowder and a salad. The bowl was thick and rich! Yum! The... More

Nice restaurant with good selection of good food. Sort of pricey, but that's expected in this area. Great views during the day.
