This little cafe was unexpectedly delicious. Tucked away in the state park, it was not something we expected to be as good as it was. I had the fish and chips, which were light and flaky and very tasty, my husband had the Halibut special and he was very pleased with his meal.

Went for dinner on our recent yearly trip to Morro Bay. First time trying this restaurant situated directly across the street from the state campground where we stay. Be forewarned they don't take reservations. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. (before the crowds arrived) and asked to be seated at a table for 4, but were refused because only 3 of... More

In all the years that we visited Morro Bay we only discovered this place a few years ago. This is a really nice place to have lunch. The service is always great and the food better. My favorite has always been the California Chowder with the dash of green chile!!!

The wife and I went there for lunch. We both had a BLT on wheat. The sandwich was very good. I also loved there french fries. We sat outside in a wind protected area where the weather was beautiful. A very enjoyable lunch.

I took my Mom and Dad here for lunch. Fish was great as I had a fresh swordfish and my Mom had shrimp. Great service and Dog friendly which is a plus for me. Casual dining and good diverse menu.

Again a recommendation from a friend otherwise we never would have found it. We started by sharing the scallops on fried green tomatoes, which were excellent. We then had charred salmon burritos, which were good, though the salmon was a bit overdone. The swordfish special with mushroom piccata sauce was moist and delicious. We ended with the blackberry cobbler. All... More

This restaurant is located adjacent to Morro Bay State Park. Many tables have great views of Morro Bay, the sandspit and the nearby boat harbor. Food and service are excellent. My gluten free partner thoroughly enjoyed her salmon sandwich without the bun. Endless ice tea refills. A delightful lunch on Morro Bay.

My husband and I heard about this off-the-beaten-track restaurant. Really good food, service and a sunset view that couldn't be beat. We shared an appetizer, sea scallops on fried green tomatoes with a spicy aioli that was to die for. We also happened to be there as the sun was setting. Even the waitresses were taking a few minutes off... More

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch on their outside deck after our kayaking trip. The crabcake sandwich and salad was a perfect lunch. There was plenty of crab and much flavor. I wish I had room for dessert since they did look heavenly.

Off the beaten track you find the best places. Great view of the ocean ... reasonable prices ... good service ... good food.
