Superb location

Ideal for a luncheon with friends. The fish is very fresh and the staff hit and miss. Senior excellent, but boy pulling a face and dragging his feet. Would not take much to correct this though. Quality much be all the way....

Our friends took us to the Bayside Cafe, one of their favorite places. We each had the fish salad special for lunch which happened to be petrole sole. Delicious with their homemade potato salad. Loved eating with a view of the marina. The ice water was flavored with a cucumber slice. Very refreshing.

We had tried to find a place to eat for a while for dinner here and landed at Bayside Cafe. Good, average food, we were quickly seated, and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed which is what we wanted. The service was good.

Interesting spot for dinner and a wander afterwards around the walkway. Meal was fine and the wait staff pleasant.

We stayed in the camp ground across the street and decided to walk on over to the Café. Had an early dinner of calamari and steamed seafood. Both were excellent -- they also have local wine.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here last week.My husband and I both had the Coquille San Jacque. The scallops were plump and fresh and the rice rounded out the meal.My husband had a delicious berry cobbler while I devoured a huge slice of mud pie for dessert. The outdoor seating{with heat lamps] made the dinner more pleasant.

This restaurant is located near the Natural History Museum and State Park. We ordered fish and chips, clam chowder, and a kids' chicken strips. The fish and chips were good (although I didn't care for having herbs added to batter), the clam chowder was fair -- a bit too thickened the way some often are, and my granddaughter like her... I actually came back for their excellent salmon burger, but I ended up getting the fish taco special. It was braised fish in a mushroom sauce, served on corn tortillas and covered with raw veggies. The service is excellent. The view of the back bay and marina is wonderful. Same great restauraunt that we remembered.

good little café for sit down lunch after a trip to the natural history museum just up the hill. We walked down from the museum for a light lunch. Had two fish tacos that are really good. The fish is grilled and the sauce was excellent. Good atmosphere right next to the wharf where the kayaks are launched. Can get... More

The owner greets you in this truly Bayside restaurant. We sat outside, enjoying the view and our dinner, which was delicious. Dessert was great and my wife managed to finish a huge portion of Mud Pie.
