This is where the locals eat...for good reason!

This was recommended by our B&B as the place where the locals eat, and it seemed that everyone there was local except us. We signed in when we arrived, and were seated within 20- 25 minutes (we had chairs to sit in to wait). It was worth the wait. We were seated on the patio outside, with overhead... read more

Had a seafood chowder down here. Just as good as all the others we had in San Francisco, but of course a little quieter, but very enjoyable.

What a gem of a place! Small, quaint, and simply surrounded by natural beauty; thus place is fantastic. They serve the very best clam chowder I've eaten on the Pacific Coast from Oregon to San Diego. Fresh creamy soup with tons of tender clams makes it the best I've had. Their salads are huge with fresh ingredients topped with either... More

My wife picked this place out. It was a great atmosphere place. The food was pricy and average tasting. Super busy go get there early. The view was great of the harbor but again food was ok. You can get more food for the same price at several places in town. But again this is an atmosphere kind of place.

Cafe has both inside and outside dining with water views. Nice food and atmosphere; much quieter than main embarcadero area. I had tomato soup and vege burger. Mother had vege tostada. I would go again.

When visiting SLO, we heard about this place hidden away in the state park just south of Morro Bay. It over looks the small marina and kayak launching place. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. We noted that may of the customers seem to be local and there was a friendly atmosphere. For a Sunday afternoon lunch, the place... More

We were looking for somewhere different to eat in Morro Bay. We saw this place and went to check the menu. It looked good. It was busy, so, we figured it was good. Indeed it was. Loved the food and the prices were ok. Will go again

When we go to Morro Bay, we nearly always make certain to eat here...started coming her over twenty years ago, so that's a lot of visits! We generally order different items each time, so nothing is a "favorite," but we have liked everything we have eaten. When we want fish and chips in Morro Bay, these are the best around,... More

The food and service were so good we visited the place twice. Try the California soup - it's awesome; the seafood was spectacular as well. Not a bad meal to be had and top it off with a huge piece of carrot cake or mud pie.

We came across this little treasure just cruising around. You walk in and are treated like old friends by staff, which in this case was the owner, Dawn. The menu was full of good dishes, we chose Shrimp & Chips. Great big shrimp, battered deliciousness! The floor maybe tilted but the food is straight out good. Great atmosphere as well,... More
