We have always enjoyed the bayside cafe as a quaint little cafe on the marina, however, a little pricey for what you get. I had a BLT which had enough B but nothing special for $9. Basic supermarket wheat bread and one piece of L. The shocker was the addition $3.50 I paid for avocado and just had a few... More

My husband, our two dogs, and I had lunch at the Bayside Cafe not for the first time but we thought not soon enough. They are dog and people friendly. I had the fish and chips which were excellent with a side of cole slaw. The cabbage is marinated in bread ad butter pickling spices which impart a lovely sweet... More

The food was okay, but overpriced. The hostess was not very welcoming and sat us right next to a very noisy party of about a dozen. Our table for three was along the window, but our view was blocked by a post, covered on the outside by an unkempt, snail-infested vine. Our on-line resources said the cafe would be open... More

The Bayside Cafe is a favorite of locals. It is located next a small marina and a state park. Kayaking and canoeing are available in the marina. The cafe is very quaint and offers casual dining. Families welcome. Outdoor seating can accommodate dogs. My husband and I like the salmon on a bun or on a salad. The fish and... More

My husband and I have been going to the Bayside for quite some time now. It's always nice to get out of the heat and be able to enjoy this cute cafe's food and atmosphere! We always start off with their California chowder which is superb! I have yet to have something I dislike. We have tried their enchiladas, burgers,... More

Small little cafe with varying hours depending on the day. We were there at 2 in the afternoon and had to wait for an inside table for 6 almost 30 minutes although there was seating outside but someone in our group had to stay out of the sun. The food was good and everyone was satisfied with their meal. What... More

My husband loves the fish taco's and we all agree it's the best Clam Chowder we've ever tasted including the famous Boston, MA chowders. Nothing compares in my families opinion.

We have vacationed in the Cayucos/Morro Bay area of the California Central Coast for almost twenty years. We are always here the first two weeks of July and then whenever we can get away during the remainder of the year. The Bayside Cafe has been our favorite cafe since the first time we visited the quaint little restaurant across the... More

What a great place for lunch after a morning of kayaking! Service was great, food was delicious and prices very reasonable for what you get. Didn't care for their cole slaw - not my taste (with turmeric), fish & chips were excellent as was the crabcake sandwich. Topped it off with a slice of Key Lime pie - doesn't get... More

We asked a local where to go for fish and chips, this was one of the recommended places. The fish and chips were nice and hot, as were the French fries. Service was very good and it is a nice drive through the state park to get to the restaurant. Great setting by the water
