a great find

The food was delicious and the waitstaff was great! We had been to the museum and walking in the state park and were hungry when we happened upon this place.

Delicious and fresh seafood, lots of healthy options as well. Generous portions with creative recipes, and the berry pie is outstanding!

We came here on the recommendation of a friend. Found the food to be excellent and the service prompt. It was a beautiful day to eat out on the patio where we had a light cool breeze. Met someone who moved from our home are to Morro Bay three years ago. He said this is a favorite of the locals.... More

Unfortunately this place is under threat of losing its lease with the state parks department. Located right on the bay the views are great. Parking is easy. Seating is available inside and outside. The seafood is great. I started with their California Chowder which incorporates their clam chowder and green chile chowder. We also had the crab sandwich, very good.... More

We live in Morro Bay and go the Bayside at the drop of a hat! We always take our friends and family visitors. We love this wonderful restaurant! The location, the views, the menu options, the food (the California Chowder is to die for!), the wait staff are all A+

Ate here with family in early-July as we were all a bit hungry travelling up the PCH . After doing some on-line reviews and checking our GPS to see what was nearby, we decided to lunch bayside. Being two weeks since eating here with 8 hotels and over 20 restaurants between this review, I do recall I had the fish... More

Spending a few days in Morro Bay and were needing a rather late dinner. At 8pm we got in and had very good dinners: the Chicken Caesar Salad and Chicken Quesadilla. Wine selections seemed local and also good. The quesadilla was so big it gave us three meals. Reasonable prices nice staff, nice location.

This was recommended by our B&B as the place where the locals eat, and it seemed that everyone there was local except us. We signed in when we arrived, and were seated within 20- 25 minutes (we had chairs to sit in to wait). It was worth the wait. We were seated on the patio outside, with overhead heaters that... More
