stumble on in!

We came across this little treasure just cruising around. You walk in and are treated like old friends by staff, which in this case was the owner, Dawn. The menu was full of good dishes, we chose Shrimp & Chips. Great big shrimp, battered deliciousness! The floor maybe tilted but the food is... read more

Started years ago as shack with two women and fresh fish sandwiches, which they don't do anymore. Large and crowded but location is worth it.

Another place I have driven by for years and so glad I finally stopped to try it. What a delightful place. Obviously has a strong local following. My husband and I agreed they have some of the best clam chowder on the Central Coast. We have also had sandwiches and salads -- everything was very tasty and well presented. Great... More

We were in Morro Bay for the afternoon and stumbled on this place. It feels like it's a nice local joint, away from touristy Downtown. We had an excellent view, some first-rate fish tacos, good wine (in a proper glass) and a good draft beer. Service was friendly and prompt. All in all, my favorite kind of place - local,... More

I did not find the food extra-special, but had to approve of the setting. Under the trees at the side of a small marina. Smells nice, like country should.

My husband & I visited the Bayside Cafe for both lunch & dinner, we were so impressed. Firstly, a lovely location, just by the small marina, with ample free parking. There is seating both inside & out, with parasols shading you from the sun during the day & patio heaters on to allow you to enjoy the night sky over... More

Food was tasty and well cooked. We had a fantastic view of the bay we had just kayaked around from our table. John from Central Coastal had recommended the restaurant and we were quite glad we took his advice. Great way to finish up our time at Morro Bay.

The french toast is incredible! It's not like anything you've ever had before. Not your typical french toast, but you just have to try it!
