We, family with three children (6, 9 and 11 years) went here. To be honest, it was really bad. The drinks we ordered didn't taste good, the food was basically didn't taste anything. The one exception was the cheese burger, which was ok, but nothing more than that.

Our first time in the community. We were excited to walk the embarcadero and 'drink up' the atmosphere. We walked into the restaurant from the sidewalk. Although we were waved in, I think we surprised the bussing staff who were clearing the view table we'd chosen. From that point forward, the lunch never achieved a rhythm - the server was... More

My husband and kid loved their fish n chips and my clam chowder was pretty good. The waitress was attentive and we got in and out of their fairly quick. No complaints.

After dropping our son off at Sonoma State my wife and I made a last minute decision to stay one night in Morro Bay. Got there late so did not have too many choices of where to eat. That turned out to be good because it 'forced' us to stroll into Otter Rock Cafe. The place was rockin' out to... More

We dined here for lunch on a Saturday. The embarcadero was crowded and we were fortunate to find seating in the cafe. The restaurant has an excellent view of Morro Rock and the bay. The menu offered both burgers and sea food. I found there sea food dishes to be rather good. Fresh ingredients prepared very well. The service was... More

It was 11:30AM when we selected Otter Rock Café from among the many choices lining Morro Bay. We were drawn in by the expansive menu displayed out front, which also announced breakfast is served until 1PM. Once seated...with a lovely seat facing the water...we were handed a much smaller menu than the one that lured us in. Asking to order... More

This is another place that we frequent, so it was particularly sad that it was not a good experience this time. We went in for lunch and were glad to see there were several tables vacant, thinking we would be able to have lunch and be on our way quickly to make it to another appointment. However, the wait was... More

We went to lunch here. We have not been here for a while. Service was good, food was good and reasonable. View was great of the Morro Bay Rock and bay. Will go back.

We loved sitting at a table looking out at Morro Rock while the sun set. Then as the sky grew dark musicians began to play and we stayed because we love live music! The price for the food was fair and the fish and chips were good. I've had better fish tacos.
