Rose's patio is a pet-friendly area of this bar and grill. The food is outstanding, and the view of the Bay, with all of its activity, cannot be beat.

While looking for some good "coastal grub" we first tried the #1 restaurant in Morro bay but it had an hour wait. Close by was Roses. I should have known better after looking at the menu, but the kids were tired and hungry. First off the clam chowder was actually disgusting. I have had better out of a can, not... More

We arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday evening to find numerous tables available both inside and outside and all had a great view of the "rock". When our waiter discovered this was our visit to Morro Bay and Rose's, he was very helpful in guiding us through their expansive menu and explained about their all-you-can-eat crab leg special for $38.... We drove out of our way to return here for their Mahi mahi fish tacos and Bloody Marys. My wife loved the Bloody Mary so much I asked the bartender if we could have the recipe. She was fantastic and gave it to us so we could make them at home. The fish was very fresh and my wife thoroughly... More

We had a very tasty meal here. The view was beautiful and we stayed for the sunset (stunning). There seemed to be something going on behind the scenes with the staff (a disagreement of some kind); but other than that it was a very pleasant evening.

Just got back from a day trip to Morro Bay. I'm a local and I just don't visit there enough. Wanted to try somewhere I hadn't been to yet. It was busy no matter where we would of chosen. Despite how packed it was, we were lucky to get seated right away. There were several large groups. Both the manager... More

We had the fried combo platter, which had 2 pieces of whitefish, 2 shrimps, calamari strips and clam strips in addition to a heaping portion of French fries! Prices are reasonable for this tourist area.

We arrived at Rose's at around 6:30 on Friday night. Cold, cloudy night. Outside seating with propane heaters was too cold even with coats that we sat inside which was also freezing...Everybody was wearing coats zipped up! My wife ordered fish tacos which were OK. I ordered a "combo" which was a deep fried mess of calamari, whitefish and 2... More

Plenty of great choices on this menu! Nicole had a well made frozen margarita while I had a dollar off draft beer. Prompt service in a laid back bayside atmosphere. Lots of televisions as well as great views of the bay. Nicole enjoyed her lobster and shrimp tacos and my mahimahi burrito with tomato tortilla was fantastic! At only $31... More
