A wonderful central coast restaurant

I loved this restaurant! The dining area is large with many tables on the large windows with close up views of Moro Rock and the bay. I had some knowledge of the chefs use of local seafood, vegetable, fruit and herbs. To start a mixture of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano and garlic was... read more

I loved this restaurant! The dining area is large with many tables on the large windows with close up views of Moro Rock and the bay. The bar is lovely, spacious and comfortable with a great mature lady bartender....I appreciate that: We went for Oyster Tuesday and white wine, very fresh and offered with two different sauces. We only had a few since I am no longer a big raw seafood fan, but my companion enjoyed his. The bar is away from the water views but... More

Really nice restaurant... Visited early evening on a busy Saturday and got a nice table by the windows looking out over the bay. Spacing of the tables is generous so no neighbor ease-dropping. Service was terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable, and well-paced. Bread was a nice crispy french loaf. We skipped appetizers and had two delicious mains--scallops and sand dab. Very, very,... More

We ordered a full spread. Some of the food was good, some was ok, none was great. Our server was great but management was inept and bathrooms could use an overhaul. They are as bright as a hospital surgery room. Nice view, but restaurant was nothing special. We waited at the bar almost an hour for our table that was... More

My husband and I decided to try this place out for dinner after receiving recommendations from family, so glad we did! The waiting staff was polite and wonderful during our meal, our waitress gave wonderful advice on drinks! The pomegranate Lemon drop was so yummy! Our dinner and dessert were delicious and filling! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

It was a great setting and the food and drinks were delicious. A little pricey, but worth it if you have the money.

I just wrote my review about the Estero Hotel when my husband and I stay there on a trip traveling down the coast. We were only staying in Morro Bay two nights as a lay over as we traveled down from San Francisco to LA. We decided to dine at Windows on the Water the first night of our stay... More

Walked in late for one of the most enjoyable meals in a long time! View of the Rock, wonderful wine selection, oysters were fresh, goat cheese and mango bruschetta, scallops with wild mushrooms and a salted caramel martini for dessert! Yum!
