A lot of food

My husband ordered the sweet potato enchilada to go. It was wrapped in a flour tortilla and was topped with green sauce. It also came wth greens, tomato, guacamole, sour cream, black beans and rice. I ate part of it and I thought it was great. It was very tasty. I would order it for myself if I... read more

I know a lot of people that just love this place, but I can't consider it authentic Mexican food. They serve salsa and chips complementary at your table, they offer a lot of different meals, and groups are not usually too hard to accommodate. However, no meal I have ever ordered here has been amazing. It's just okay. There are... More

I typically order the Carnitas taco (believe me, you only need one!) with an added dollop of guacamole. Best cheap meal anywhere! But the specials with fresh seafood, though more pricey, worth the extra cash...oh, and make sure you have CASH! No cards accepted, but they do take local checks. I also enjoy the crab cake tacos...not your typical tacos.... More

For $5, one can get a taco that better resembles a salad and that will fill you up. I had the carnitas taco which came mounded with fresh greens, radish, cilantro and a luscious dressing. I asked them to leave off the cheese (I'm allergic) which would have made it better. For $20, they have similar dishes with fresh scallops... More

Even at 11:30 am on Saturday, the place was already full, with a line out the door. We ordered at the cash register and they brought our food to us at the outdoor picnic tables. I had a $5.00 veggie taco, which came with free chips and salsa. The taco is more like a tostada, with lots of fresh salad... More

Based on the reviews, I expected more distinctive food. The fish tacos were fine, but nothing special. They could be described as green salads with chipotle-seasoned blackened cod on a tortilla. The sweet potato enchilada was more interesting; enjoyed the contrast of crunchy pepitas on top. The veggie taco was just plain boring.

This place is fun and super cheap. Bring your appetite, the portions are huge. I love the fish tacos, but others in our group raved about the huge burritos. Good chips and salsa, good service. Be prepared to wait, this is a very popular place.

We went here late at night, right before they closed at 9pm. On the way to our Cayucos destination, we saw this place from highway 1 and the line was out the door so we thought, hey, we should check it out. The food did not disappoint as the sea bass taco was really really good! It was good size,... More
