Small, cosy cafe offering great breakfast. What I couldn't eat, they boxed up for me to eat later. Great for my ongoing journey.

I was delightfully surprised at how good the sandwiches were at Frankie and Lola's. I had a veggie on grilled sourdough and it had eggplant, squash, tomatoes and onions and was delicious. Not much oil in the grilling, either. My husband had a turkey, stuffing and cranberry on grilled sourdough, but we both agreed that my veggie sandwich was outstanding.... More

Waitress took a very long time just to come get my drink order despite place not being busy at all. It was 11:30. Secondly, I ordered the eggs Benedict breakfast with grits and potatoes. I was shocked to see how small the meal was. 2 small eggs with maybe 2 spoonfuls of country potatoes and a teaspoon of grits, and... More

There are very few places to have a really good breakfast in Morro Bay. Most cater to the multitude of tourists. That said, we ended up at Frankie and Lola's. This restaurant is well-promoted. We had a simple breakfast. Nothing fancy, but good and adequate. The staff was friendly and attentive. The next day, we went to the Coffee Pot... More

The menu was different not your typical coffee shop fare. We had breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is some what funky but clean. If you get bored, try reading the tattoos on one of the waitresses, colorful and interesting.

Great breakfast and great view outside. My wife and I loved it. Our waitress was a no nonsense no frills kind of girl and we totally dug it. Would definitely go back again.

Didn't expect much and got served a nice lunch! The Tri Tip Avocado Sandwich was as good as the roasted chicken. For a non-spectacular location like that it was way better than we expected it to be. Try it out! We think you won't regret it!

Whenever we want to go out to breakfast, the first choice is always Frankie and Lola's. They have the most unique and tasty breakfasts you will find. Choosing is always the hard part. The unusual Eggs Benedict on fried green tomatoes and grits with a spicy hollandaise sauce is one of my all-time favorites. It's a small place, so be... More

A great little restaurant across the street from the water. Always a chance you will have to wait but worth it. Try the French Toast for breakfast or dessert! The egg dishes are excellent, service friendly and efficient, always a full cup of coffee. Hard to beat it!

Adorable little place. Doesn't seat a lot of people, so go early, or take a sweater and sit outside. We went here for breakfast and the food was out of this world delicious. I had the fried green tomato eggs benedict with creole sauce. I've been dreaming about it ever since.
