This place is and old Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food joint and is not much to look at. As you walk up to the door, a couple things will catch your eye. First is the surfer stickers stuck all over the windows. Second is the ordering line, as this is a very popular place. The line moves quickly and as... More

We went to this restaurant because It was a short walk from our hotel. The food was just okay. Taco Temple is much, much better.

We were passing through Morro Bay on our way to Cambria. Wanted a quick bite to eat so we asked some of the locals to recommend a good Mexican Restaurant.Taco De Mexico was their reco. It's a tiny place and seating is extremely limited. Food was inexpensive but we got what we paid for.. Ordered three different items and all... More

We found this place when we saw someone eating a huge burrito while walking in town and asked them where they got it. The food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced especially when we always take home half of what we order. It is always full of local people and small but you usually can get a table.

From the outside you might be tempted not to stop but we could tell from the number of people waiting to eat there had to be something more. We were right! The food was delicious and affordable.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a couple of locals in SLO when we asked where to find the best Mexican food. The restaurant is simple, small, and can fill up quickly; however it is most certainly worth a stop for a quick bite. I had the carbon and carnitas tacos, and both were absolutely delcious. They have many... More

I have a higher salt tolerance than my S.O. and I got to eat her food after I finished mine. For a $6 burrito I will go elsewhere or spend $2 more at Taco Temple and have the best carnitas burrito ever.

If you can put up with noise, family seating and Styrofoam plates, this is THE place in town. It is just a hole in the wall but serves authentic food a very reasonable prices. Try take out and avoid the inside crowds.

Better than I expected. Had carne asada tacos and nachos and both were really tasty. Most importantly it's cheap spent about $11 on a meal or two.

Unless you close your eyes while driving down Main St.........It's very visible with a open plate glass construction and right across from Bottle Liquor store. Just booths inside at Taco De Mexico. You do not come here for ambiance. You come here for excellent Mexican food and good prices. The staff is attentive and friendly. In over 20 years, I... More
