Best Brunch in the area!

The Black Cow has an amazing and creative brunch menu. It has been a family favorite for years. It is always busy! Make a day of it by having brunch and then attending the Farmer's Market down the street.

Black Cow Cafe is especially good for lunch with a wide variety of menu items and a list of specials that change daily. Their butternut squash soup is very good, more of a puree than creamy although there may be some cream in it. Service is good to great, staff is very friendly. Passion fruit iced tea is excellent. Black Cow is a great restaurant in one of the cutest little towns in LA. Their breakfast is what we always go for and it never dissapoints. I also recommend their coffee, very good!

I looked on trip advisor before picking the Black Cow for breakfast today. I couldn't have been more disappointed. My breakfast with coffee cost $17.12. I'm not opposed to paying for quality but I didn't get it. I've had much better breakfast in many other places for less than $10. My waiter (male) took a while to take my order.... More

Parking- While driving on Honolulu, turn onto Market Street. There is a lot on the right hand side. Free parking lot for 3 hours. We arrived on Saturday at 11am. There was a wait and was told it would be 30-45minutes. But after just about 15 minutes, we were shown to our seats. I ordered the Cordon Bleu. I was... More

Enjoyed lunch at the Black Cow Cafe today for the first time. Very yummy! I had a roasted tri tip sandwich. The bread was a little hard so I had to give it a four, but otherwise, great! The waitress we had was very prompt . . . Refills before I even noticed it was empty. The price range given... More

Coffee excellent !! We ordered a small french press- our server with short blonde hair was very friendly and very helpful! Most of the breakfast entrees do come with eggs- whether it is an omelette, a scramble or one of the other items, but we were able to order THE WEEKEND wRAP with no eggs and extra spicy-YUMMY !! I... The Black Cow is where we go for a change of pace. The food and service is always good and it is quiet enough to converse. The menu is "American" with something for everybody. While more often we dine next door at Star Cafe, ( same owner), we know we will have a nice experience at Black Cow.
