The three of us had great service from the moment we entered the restaurant. Our server was very helpful, assisting in our selection of wine and meals. All of our food was excellent.

This restaurant is a short walk (1/2 mile) away from the tourist area, hard to find at first, especially in the dark. You got to get onto the dock and then its all the way back in the parking lot. Hint for those having trouble taking stairs, this restaurant is upstairs. I'm not a big seafood eater except for crab cakes.But... More

12 of us ate here, per a recommendation from a friend. ALL 12 were so happy with our food and service, it was pretty amazing. I had the Calamari Eggplant Parmigiano. WOW! Also sampled some of their clam chowder, again, it was amazing. What's even better, is we didn't have reservations, they seated us all without any grief and were... More

My daughter and I stayed overnight in Monterey. When we got settled, my daughter found great reviews for this restaurant on TripAdvisor. I called the restaurant to see if there was any way we would be able to celebrate my birthday at their restaurant even though we did not have reservations. The owner of the restaurant welcomed us and made... More

We walked over to meet our friends at the restaurant along the scenic bike/walk path that runs from the Fisherman's wharf area to this pier. We were promptly seated at a window table (as requested). Beautiful view of this working pier at sunset. We ordered a squid appetizer and grilled artichoke appetizer we remembered from a visit last year. So... More

The clerk at our hotel recommended Massaro & Santos when we asked about good restaurants in the area. He was spot on. It was an easy, seaside walk from the Monterey Bay Inn. The restaurant is on the second floor of the building and afforded magnificent views of the Bay and the sunset. There's a huge parking lot. White table... More

A little gem at the end of Cannery Row, away from the "touristy" Fisherman's Wharf restaurants. Took a group of 32 people to M&S for dinner, September 2014. The owner, Oliver, and his entire staff were terrific!! All the orders were correct, beautifully prepared and presented! Great view, beautiful sunset! Have the Sand Dabs, a local favorite. Would definitely recommend... More

This is what I was looking for: sustainable local seafood, fresh vegetables, interesting flavor combinations, and an overall light touch to the meal including the sauces. The tomato ginger soup was an excellent way to start. The calamari was good as advertised, but the dipping sauce was confusing. It was supppsed to be chili something, but we couldn't taste any... Nice little restaurant with great service and food. Overlooks a marina and at the end of Cannery row. Worth a splurge visit.

Visited this restaurant for lunch based on Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed . The owner and the staff were very attentive and obliging. The seating outside overlooking the marina on a beautiful sunny day was exactly what we wanted. One of my favorite dishes is Cioppino. Which is a "stew" made up of shrimp, fish, clams, mussels and whatever... More
