This little pastry shop/bakery tucked inside an historic building in Old Monterey has delicious freshly baked pastries, cookies, cakes and the most perfect little quiche I have ever tasted. As a bonus, their coffee is strong and smooth. I especially loved their Mochas! A simply divine little spot in Monterey! more

I love their white cake with fresh strawberries and white whipped cream frosting. It makes a great special event cake. Unfortunately they've been bested by another french bakery called Bechler's. I'll probably still go to P-L for that cake, but when it comes to other pastries i'll either go to Bechler's or Paris Bakery now. more

We stumbled upon this place on a gloomy, late morning on our way to the Aquarium and it was fabulous. Since it was around brunch time, we had quiches, which were excellent. best americano, great tea selection. sanwiches and salads super fresh and great presentation. sometime i just go to window shop. if you're into pastries this is the place. more
