My friends ordered me the Frasier cake from this bakery to bring to my birthday dinner. It was super impressive and I can't say that I've ever seen a birthday cake of that caliber from any bakery in Monterey County. The genoise cake was the perfect density, the fruit was fresh and ripe, and the vanilla cream was mouthwatering. I... More

Let me start off by saying I had never heard anything about this place. I honestly don't even know how I stumbled upon this place. Everything looked good! I guess I should start off saying I got the white passion individual cake. I wanted something small but decadent to share with my husband. This cake was THEE best cake I... More

Charming place to go for coffee and treats. It has a small verandah along the front where you can bask in the sun and watch the world go by.

Located in a charming old building, antique decor like quimperware, this bakery serves the most delicious pastry, especially the almond croissants. Just bring cash because they don't take credit cards. Service was great too.

Beautiful cakes and pastries, nice strong coffee, and a lovely old building to sit in. Staff were lovely too.

The best Almond Croissants!! French Macaroons are delish! Very friendly staff! We had a little difficulty finding the place as it's kind of tucked in the side of the building and not visible from the street. It was worth the attempt in locating this fab bakery!

It's pastries, it's goodies, it's unusual (and unusually tasty) sandwiches and salads. It's only open for breakfast and lunch, blast it. The hardest part of the menu is figuring out what you don't want.

We had to escape the continental breakfast of our chain hotel, and there it was, just around the corner, a nice little bakey and cafe'. We sat down, nice and quiet, we had a fruit and cereal salad with yoghurt and a couple of sandwiches to take away for lunch. Just what we needed!

We stopped by this cafe completely out of the blue. We needed to bring a dessert to a dinner party. They were just closing and had only one cake. But was a delicious cake it was. A dark chocolate/orange terrine with chocolate buttercream frosting... And it was beautiful to boot. It was a delicious hit to top off a great... More

Came across this little bakery next to the post office. Area completely uninteresting but the cafe is absolutely lovely. Had a freshly baked croissant and a delicious ciabatta roll with sundries tomato. Espresso drink was nice and not too milky. Staff super friendly. Seemed to be all locals going there. Will go back anytime if back in the area!! Highly... More
