This is not a good french bakery. It's just not. The pastries are horribly undercooked, flat, and floppy. The confectionery stuff looked nice, but the pastries were horrible. The espresso drinks are bad too. I ordered a cappuccino, and the milk was watery and poorly frothed. I can see that some people might like it, but it's only because they... More

Became very sick after eating a sandwich. Ended up in the Hospitals Emergency. Owner was immediately notified and had a horrible attitude. No apology nothing. I wouldn't give any food from this Establishment to anyone including my pets. Horrible experience.

Well, 50 lbs heavier from the eclairs, Napoleons, the lemon and fruit tarts, the spinach and egg quiche and some custard Danish...all I can say is Jenny Craig!!! But it was well worth it! Apparently the customers thought so too because not only did the food look beautiful, but it was light and delicious. and the lines were long!!!

When you first walk in everything looks amazing. So many options and so much sugar! We tried the cookies and they were old and nothing special, raspberry Danish had lots of filling which I did like but the pastry was ok, bread pudding loaf edible nothing special. It's worth to go in and try but don't think I would go... More

Almond croissant fresh out of the oven and a double shot of espresso......phenomenal. I've travelled extensively in France and the pastry here is consistently some of the best french pastry I have eaten. WELL done!!

Great place for lunch you can have your own sandwich built, on top of that they have so many already sandwiches if you are in a hurry, you can pick some breads home as well and all kinds of pastries

Paris Bakery lives up to its wonderful ratings. An early Sunday morning, we walked from our bed and breakfast and entered the wonderful smells of fresh brewed coffee and pastries. The coffee was excellent and the pastries – I guess I should have tried each one just to be sure. The wife had a Café Breve – a latte with... More

Thought we were in heaven. So yummy. Everything was nice and fresh and the service was wonderful. Wish we had a bakery like Paris Bakery in our hometown.

I know there are a lot of good reviews and I am sure this card is better than the average in monterey ,but surely we can do better in such a beautiful part of the world. I am not sure what the French name gives it but it's a bakery with cakes, some savouries and poor coffee I admit by... More

We visited the Paris bakery in September 2014 for breakfast, as we were stopping at the nearby Abrego hotel on a room only basis. We were completely new to Monterey and were deciding on where to go for breakfast when we walked by the Paris Bakery. The place was packed, even though it was 8:30 on a Sunday morning, so... More
