We called in for mid morning coffee but had to go back for lunch and breakfast the following morning. This cafe made our Monterey visit and put a big smile on our faces every visit. You do not have to go posh or expensive to get great service and food. Obviously much loved by the locals and enjoyed by us... More

Quiche, chocolate & banana croissant, espresso - done, done and done. My girlfriend and I love Paris Bakery and can't rave enough about how good everything is. It's one of our must hit up spots every time we're in Monterey!

We had breakfast each morning in the Paris Bakery during our holiday in Monterey. It was a great little bakery with lovely breads and pastries - the almond croissants were amongst the best we have eaten outside of Paris, France. So highly recommended for a simple, tasty and good value breakfast.

Stopped in with my husband, 3 yr old, and 1 yr old. Selection was great...both pre-made sandwiches and made-to-order sandwiches, kids menu, wide selection of pastries and breads, salads, fruit. It was tasty, would definitely go back. Only negative was space...be weary of large crowds and few tables during meal times.

We stopped and had a croque monsieur which I thought was nice and crusty. The hubs had a chicken cordon bleu, which I thought was okay. The food was a good value. The pastry stuff I tried to avoid, but my husband, after looking at all the exotic possibilities, bought a cinnamon cookie, which I thought tasted just like a... More

After a disappointing bowl of chowder on the tourist trap of Fisherman's Wharf, my wife and I were cruising the quiet Monterey streets on Sunday morning looking for something genuine for breakfast. The Paris Bakery Cafe looked pleasantly busy on the inside with steady traffic, so we joined the crowd. Excellent choice. My wife had the rosemary quiche lorraine. It... More

The most marvelous bakery with to die for pastries, cookies, and croissants. Everything was tender and flaky and oh, so delicious. A wide variety of coffees, teas and drinks as well. Will be back and soon!
