We went here during happy hour and ended up ordering three different appetizers. Drinks were good, food was good, and service was good. Next time we'll try having dinner there.

The smell was amazing when we walked in--oak-fired grill. Stick with the menu items cooked on the wood-fired grill. Avoid the deep-fried food, that's not what the restaurant was good at. Everything we had from the grill was amazing--brisket, ribs, shrimp, salmon. The kids' menu was very ho-hum, the same fried junk food as on every other restaurant's kids' menu:... More

Staying just down the road and was recommended a trip to the Monterey Smokehouse - our choice aided by the fact we were given a voucher for a free appetiser! Nothing too exciting to shout about inside, but the food is lovely. Good simple American food, done right. I had the wings, which I created a huge mess with :)... More

Visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our motel host. It was a short stroll from our motel and promised house smoked meat. Service was excellent and the house specialty margarita was delicious. Our clam chowder appetizers were a great start. The mains were the stars however. My pork loin was just divine. My partner chose the brisket which was... More

We liked the restaurant and the service was friendly and good. We shared a beet salad that was very good. My wife's hamburger, cooked over oak coals, was top rate. My BBQ sampler was a disappointment. They sort of boast they use a Traeger smoker for their slow cooked BBQ. Unfortunately, pellet smokers are known to be very light on... More

Had a very nice family dinner here - very attentive waitress, good food, nice portions - we walked here from the Best Western De Anza right next door. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we shared an assortment of desserts that were terrific.

Parking lot is difficult, entrance is narrow, limited parking. Inside the sports bar is separate from main dining area. The menu is varied with seafood, pasta, and various meats.barbecued and roasted. I had an excellent calamari steak with rice. We were all happy with our meals.

We were driving by the restaurant and decided to stop and try it, good decision! There was a great slight smokehouse smell as were entered, which helped us make our menu selections. I had the brisket and my wife had the smoked pork loin w/ apple chutney. Both Entrees were really good and the sides of mashed potatoes and vegetables... More
