Great quality breakfast

We discovered this place by chance and I was very impressed. The breakfast was full of flavour and was really well presented. Good portions. Potatoes were delicious and coffee re-fills were a pleasant suprise. I would definitely return.

We decided to try a restaurant featured on Triple D on our visit to Monterey so we decided to have breakfast here. I guess we were expecting too much because we found the food to be just average and the service a little less than that. We both had a steamer, I thought it was like a big pile of... More

Picked up cinnamon rolls to go. Have been there before. Very nice. It is right across the street from Casa Munras.

If you like your coffee flavorful and strong, your pastries and baked goods fresh, hot, and homemade you have found your Heaven. You can also enjoy a sit-down breakfast if you prefer to linger. Obviously the owners love what they do and it shows in every morsel.

We enjoyed a very nice breakfast on a Sunday morning. We both had the Mediterranean Scramble, a concoction of eggs, cheese, chicken sausage, and veggies. Very good! The place was packed, with a small line out the door. Service was slow and erratic. By erratic, I mean that we never had one person assigned to our table, which meant that... More

We had breakfast on a weekday. It's small and fills up fast. I had the potato skillet. It was excellent. Many different types of vegetables, all very fresh. The bread that came with it was homemade and tasted great. Service was good too!

A small little gem tucked behind a chain restaurant, this restaurant was great. The coffe was smooth, eggs were local, bread excellent, home style potatoes perfect. Try the "steamers" scrambled eggs, they were cooked with hot water similar to steaming milk in an expresso machine. Traveling alone can sometimes be uncomfortable but not here. It had the feel of local... More

So i agree with all the other reviewers, service is super slow. We stayed because people around us said the food was good -- that too was ok. Our food arrived kind of cold. They need more servers or at least someone helping them make the Lattes. first of all you have to wait to be seated which is ridiculous,... More

We discovered The Wild Plum earlier this week, the day before Thanksgiving. We went in for breakfast based on its serving mostly organic, local fare and on some great online reviews. We also were really appreciative of Chef/Owner Pamela Burns’ Mission Statement: At The Wild Plum everything is made with love and care. Our passion for food and sharing that... More

The Wild Plum is an excellent place to eat breakfast. We ate there a couple of days. The food was delicious and the portions left you full. Everything is focused on being organic. The service was very good. There's a Denny's right next door. While it's probably cheaper to eat at Denny's, Denny's can't match the quality of food being... More
