The décor, both outside garden and indoors, is lovely. The food is both reasonably priced and tasty. I ordered Veggie and Chicken Biryani and, when it arrived the food was so fragrant I almost didn't want to eat - but I did! And every bite was a delight. Family friendly and also good for a date night. Will always stop... More

I have passed by this restaurant a thousand times and always wondered. Finally, I went in and I was so glad I did. I had the chicken tikka masala & garlic naan. Both were excellent! It was such a treat to watch my garlic naan made in front of me. Definitely would go back

I can't say enough about the flavor and quality of food at Ambrosia. Large, tender, chunks of meat. Great service. Cool atmosphere. And the Bhindi vegetarian dish (seasonal), was to die for Yum!!! Show up a bit early or definitely have a reservation. The place is always packed. It was raining, so we dined indoors, but I'll be back to... More

We ordered take out on New Years Eve from Ambrosia. I read the Tripadvisor reviews and had high hopes. They did not disappoint. We walked two blocks from our hotel to pick up our dinner. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and I wish we would have stayed and ate at the restaurant. It had a very romantic vibe.... More

This is the second best Indian Food I have eaten in America. The food is fresh, perfectly spiced, the staff is attentive, the whole town seems to want to eat here at 7 so get in early or make a reservation (not sure if they accept them). There is also a cafe down on Cannery Row. I am sure it... More

Screwed up my order. But what came was decent. Portions were decent. The price was a bit on the higher side. The ambiance was very friendly.

We had a wonderful meal Sunday night at Ambrosia's. When other places in town were sparsely attended, Ambrosia's was full. The authentic entrees, sauces, and bread are full of flavor. Portions are healthy and the staff are happy to send you home with a take home box or two. I can't wait to return for another taste of India.

4 of us ate here last week while travelling from UK. Having tasted many curries in the uk we all reckoned it was the best we had ever eaten. It all tasted fresh, authentic and different from the average curry. Good service.

Ambrosia features a wide menu of regional Indian dishes - if our experience is any guide it pulls it off well. We ate Goan fish curry - ginger dominates this dish from western India - and chicken Chettinad - a peppery dish from southern India - and both came up to our expectations. Add a very good smoky Bayngan Burtha... More
