We were staying at the Best Western Plus De Anza Inn in Monterey. After a long day of sightseeing the last thing we wanted to do was go searching for a particular restaurant. The Hotel staff said that this place was good. Well they sure were correct. One of the best meals we ever had and our Lady server was... More

Right across the street from hotels. Casual atmosphere. Good for kids - if your kids don't like green things ask that they don't put herbs on the kids fries. Food was good. A nice average place to eat.

Restaurant is a big aged, could use some sprucing up, but we had fast service. We ate early on a Wednesday night, so it wasn't super busy, but was getting busier as we left around 6:30pm. I had a thin crust pizza, delicious. And my brothers had servings big enough to fill them up for the night. Walking distance from... More

The advertising indicated they had a salad bar, they do not. Food was below average, service was quite slow. It was a very busy weekend in Monterey with the golf classic, but only about half full in the restaurant. Will not go back.

This is a place the locals love. Not near the water or the high rent district but right in the middle of hotel row on Fremont street. Come here hungry because the food is excellent and the portions are huge. The service was good and all of the customers were friendly. Next time in Monterey this will be a must.

l'm just visiting Monterey overnight and drove by this place. Ordered a calzone to go from the gentleman in the website photo. Real nice guy. Very pleasant. Not a huge space, but nicely put together. The calzone was amazing. Delicious. Huge. Quality, flavorful ingredients. Would I eat there again? Absolutely. http://www.carusoscorner.net/

The food was good. I had the grilled salmon and pasta and shared a salad with the other person in my party. Dinner came with bread. The restaurant was a little outdated and a little more costly than I expected, but the location was good, and there was free parking.

Not real italian food. Chefs are not italian. Pizza tasted horrible and was super expensive. I asked a lemon tea and i got cold water with lemon.

We have been going here for many, many years. Richard, the owner, makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter. The food is really, really good! The cheese bread is to die for! The pizza is fantastic. The traditional Italian dishes are all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with a waitstaff who is attentive, knowledgable and anticipates... More

Drove from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco via Highway 1. Spend too much time visiting Hearst castle and enjoying the scenery that we entered Monterey for diner. We were quite hungry and Italian always sounds good. The staff was friendly and the prices are very affordable. The food portions were big, but also very greasy and heavy on the stomach.... More
