This little non descript restaurant and fish market is a GEM. Really great seafood fresh as you can get cooked to perfection. I will be dreaming about their BBQ oysters till I get back there again. The sea scallops were to die for, but my absolute favorite was the rare Ahi tuna, barely grilled and melt in your mouth perfection.

I had dinner at the Sea Harvest the other night. The swordfish was fresh, hot and and the best I've ever eaten. The service was very good; however, the evening was spoiled when I visited their bathrooms. First, the bathrooms are located OUTSIDE behind the restaurant. Second, the two bathrooms are uni-sex and not locked so anyone off the street... More

Thanks to other viewers at tripadvisor.com, I planned on trying a different restaurant for a couple of reasons. For sure, I like sampling all the different clam chowders at the Monterey Wharf!!! But we have been there (the wharf) dozens of times (live in the Bay Area and have membership to Monterey Aquarium) and wanted to try a different restaurant.... More

After browsing Yelp, Google Local, etc. We decided to take the advice of tripadvisor and give this place a try. It did not disappoint. The first time there I went for the combinatiin basket. The calamari was the highlight, the fries were good too. My wife and daughter agreed. The next day we returned after a day at the aquarium,... More

The wait was only 30 minutes, not a large seating area and no chairs or benches to speak of in the waiting area. Staff were very friendly and our waitress was very knowledgable (we asked a lot of questions). The price was very good for the selection and size of meals, thus the 4 rating. The food was good, but... More

This has been our favorite restaurant since we discovered it tucked up a block above the Cannery Road strip when our kids first started visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium... At least 10 years ago? The food is as fresh as can be, considering it comes straight from the fish market that is part of the restaurant. What a lot of... More

This hidden gem happened to be the closest place to eat to our hotel on Foam St. And WOW, we loved it. Great seafood, very reasonable prices, quick service with a smile. So so so much better than many of the tourist trap places that abound in Monterey. If we were here another night, I'd go again!

After searching high and low for great seafood restaurants, my husband & I found this place by accident while walking back to our hotel on our last trip. So, we decided to go there every night for dinner this time, as we've had too many bad experiences in Monterey and did not want to mess with a good thing. We... More

Any restaurant that service fish from it's own boat has an advantage. The large variety of local fish available makes it a good choice for dining. The lack of inspiration makes it average.

Headed for the Sea Harvest, based on TripAdvisor Reviews. Was not disappointed - the menu was not large, but as promised, the fish-n-chips was excellent. Piping hot, catch-of-the-day, incredibly crisp chips in lovely fresh-tasting oil. The clam chowder was a bit bland for my personal taste, bit it was fine. Service was first rate. Not a fancy place, but one... More
