A consistently good choice

I've been here before, but not for a couple years. I am glad to say, it has not changed. Believe the other reviewers who also say how decent this restaurant is for an excellent fish dinner. It is just as we say. This is a fine establishment to get a good fish dinner at a good price. The... read more

We are craving for some seafood, and found this wonderful place with onsite parking. Sitting was full and we were very hungry...so ordered to-go. Ordered both fish n chips & shrimp n chips, both were good... but the shrimps were amazing !!

Fresh seafood, simple preparations, and affordable prices. This is a seafood market with a few tables off to the side. This place may not the ambiance and romance of some, but the seafood is spot on. So nice we went for dinner one night, and lunch again on the way out of town the next.

A place where they love fish as much as you do! excellent cooking, fresh vegetables and for us a salvage salmon and a sea-bass excellent. service is also great! A small disappointment on the boiled shrimps... a lake of taste (yes there are freezed but that cannot be the reason why!), prefer them fried, unfortunately.... Price at the rendez-vous: 100$... A small, family-friendly place with great food, some of the best we had on our vacation. We had raw oysters, clam chowder, shrimp and chips, and two cold beers--all were great, especially the super crispy shrimp. They had paper and crayons for the kids. I definitely recommend and look forward to going back.

We drove by this place about 3 times by accident and then decided it must be fate, we had better go in : ). It is not a fancy place, by any means, but the seafood is very fresh, right from their market. We also had a great, exceedingly pleasant waiter. I had the fried oysters with a side of... More

I don't like tourist restaurants, for the most part. I'm a big believer in eating like the locals do, and Sea Harvest is patronized by plenty of folks from the neighborhood. The place is not much to look at because it is a fishmonger as much as it is a restaurant. You can buy seafood to take home and cook,... More

Some of the best calamari I have ever had! The fish was great and really freshly made, as well as the rice and vegetables being really tasty. Our waters were constantly refilled and the staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone, I would come back to Monterey just to eat here

We were in our way to Carmel when I saw this place and immediately drove to the parking lot. The moment I entered I knew I found what I was looking for. Very friendly service. Explaining details of local fish and oysters. I had a large plate of blue point oysters. AMAZING! I saw fresh squid on the working table... More

Service is usually good. Best fried clams, fish, and calamari anywhere. Meal tends to be very heavy. Clam chowder this last visit was mostly potatoes and had few clams, but still a good flavor,
