Based on the reviews, we chose sea harvest over the touristy places with ocean view. The place was crowded (maximum of 36 occupants), but we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table for two. What happened next is not acceptable, after ordering we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. I was on my way to leave... More

After a long day in the Aquarium, looked for a quiet out of the way place (away from the crowds on Cannery Row) and found this small hole in the wall. When you walk in, it actually is a fish shop where you can buy fresh seafood but also has a small area for table service. After getting your seat... More

This is a fish market that has a small dine-in area that is a few blocks removed from the hustle of Cannery Row. Menu is basic but features plenty of local seafood, all of which is fresh. No fancy views or elegant atmosphere, but if you are looking for tasty fresh local Monterey seafood, this is a great spot. Seating... More

Five of us with discerning tastes and palates enamored of excellent food descended upon a hotel concierges recommendation to sup on a phenomenal fish dinner. If you enjoy any type of seafood do not miss this local gem.

My friends and I finished up a morning of diving last weekend and wanted to find a different spot for lunch so we decided to try this place out. There was a slight wait as the tables were all full but we were glad we waited! Checking out the fresh fish for sale definitely helped increase our appetites. I ordered... More

This is a very unique little place. They sell fresh fish and the small restaurant serves very good fish plates. It is not a fancy place but don't let this fool you, the food is very good. My wife and I had their Fish and Chips and we were very happy with the taste and the price. They charge half... More

Just had lunch. Blackened rock fish on rice with veggies. Super good food. Waiters are friendly and on the ball. It also is a fish market, so you can see their operation and it made me feel this was a real fresh fish place.

We were looking for an affordable seafood place during our weekend stay in Monterey. I had read really good reviews of this place and couldn't wait to check it out. We arrived right before the dinner crowd and managed to get seated in about 20 minutes. The restaurant is small and casual. However, service was efficient and friendly. We were... More

We stumbled onto this little place when visiting the Monterey Bay aquarium, as it is right around the corner. It is FANTASTIC..! The fish was so fresh, tender, juicy, and DEEE-LICIOUS that I want to go back to Monterey, just to go back here to eat. We tried the Chilean Sea Bass, and my partner had an order of the... More

We ate here with our friends who knew the local restaurants well.We had just finished the aquarium and it was a short easy walk. The wait was about an hour.It seemed very popular with locals. They should think of adding more tables. This is also a fresh fish market. The wait was worth it though. I had the crab sandwich and my husband... More
