Just a short walk up from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, this little restaurant serves some great seafood. It seats only 36 customers at a time, so there could be a long wait. The decor is nautical and rustic, adding to its charm. Our group had fish and chips, shrimp pasta, cajun style rockfish, and the peel 'n eat shrimp. It... More

An unusual outside w/ old boat gear for decoration in the parking lot and a simple inside with pictures of fish as well as fish fixings for sale but the fresh fish in view behind the counter was matched by delicious fresh fish brought to the table. The server was very attentive and the very lightly breaded scallops, fish, and... More

Had the fish and chips, delicious! Great service, prices are a bit below average for the area, awesome! The location is perfect! Walking distance to all the tourist traps or jump on the free trolley. If you don't eat there, then get something from the market, doesn't get any fresher

We arrived at about 7, just give your name and wait for a table. We did have a long wait, over hour and half but we're glad we waited as the food was extremely good. Part fish market and part restaurant, you can see the choice of fish, all looking very fresh. When the bill came $50 including drinks, great... More

Don't let the simple exterior fool you...food is delish. Walked the medium distance to Sea Harvest (Also a fresh fish market) after visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Dining room was pretty small (seemed like the large waiting lobby space could better be used for more tables) but since it was not one of the more visited restaurants in the Cannery... More

Wonderful family run restaurant serving fresh seafood from its fish market. Excellent meal. Seafood is all they serve. Their fried platters are great and would suggest the cole slaw.

Based on the reviews, we chose sea harvest over the touristy places with ocean view. The place was crowded (maximum of 36 occupants), but we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table for two. What happened next is not acceptable, after ordering we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. I was on my way to leave... More

After a long day in the Aquarium, looked for a quiet out of the way place (away from the crowds on Cannery Row) and found this small hole in the wall. When you walk in, it actually is a fish shop where you can buy fresh seafood but also has a small area for table service. After getting your seat... More

This is a fish market that has a small dine-in area that is a few blocks removed from the hustle of Cannery Row. Menu is basic but features plenty of local seafood, all of which is fresh. No fancy views or elegant atmosphere, but if you are looking for tasty fresh local Monterey seafood, this is a great spot. Seating... More

Five of us with discerning tastes and palates enamored of excellent food descended upon a hotel concierges recommendation to sup on a phenomenal fish dinner. If you enjoy any type of seafood do not miss this local gem.
