I went here based on all the positive reviews, and was not disappointed! So many of the seafood restaurants in California are either pricey or fancy (or both!) and I was just looking for a simple, delicious, seafood restaurant on a budget. Sea Harvest delivered! I had the fish and chips and my traveling companion had the crab cakes, and... More

We stopped in for an early dinner on during a trip to Monterey in November. We had read in a local publication that the Sea Harvest had an excellent selection of fresh seafood, which is exactly what we were looking for, being right on the ocean. After a short walk from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, we were promptly seated in... More

My wife and I arrived late in Monterey and the hotel suggested this place for dinner. We had to wait about 15 minutes but there were a few seats available. The seafood was really fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I tried going to a different restaurant while on our trip in Monterey but it was so busy so we found ourselves at Sea Harvest. The location is great and the place is really nice. I loved the kitschy decor and what not. I ordered the scallops and chips, which was alright. It's all fried so in... More

I LOVE calamari steak and this place did a great job! We had lunch with the calamari served over a caesar salad. GREAT! Service also exceptional. Well, on exiting, we noticed that Dungeness Crabs had arrived. We were back for dinner where we demolished THREE of them and enjoyed every morsel washed down with a great little local Sauvignon Blanc!... More

Our go to place for seafood with the family. Its a combined fish market/ restaurant, and a great place to pick up food to go. Don't let the plastic tables and chairs fool you, this is fresh, well cooked, local food. Favorite is barbecued oysters, followed by calamari and coleslaw. Something on the menu for everyone.

The name is Sea Harvest Fish Market & Restaurant located at 598 Foam St. Monterey, CA. It's a little family-owned cafe-style place and fish market, very reasonably priced. The Fish & Chips were excellent as was the chowder. So good, in fact, we ate there two consecutive days!

Read some reviews on this place and had to try it out. It really is a market with the advantage of have seating and table service. There was a bit of a wait for a table but not incredibly busy. It was also walking distance from the hotel so we ordered to go and brought it back to enjoy in... More
