Let's face it, people go here for the views. Service is ok but nothing to write home about. The food is just ok. The fish and chips are very greasy. I regretted eating it the rest of the day.

The Fish Hopper's prices are not out of line for a good restaurant and are worth the price we paid. We visited with our 2 grandchildren for dinner, and were fortunate to be seated immediately along the rail overlooking the ocean. Our server was Kristofer and couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. Being from coastal B.C we are not... More

We have never eaten inside. It seems too pricey and touristy. We LOVE the to-go orders. We always get the clam chowder bread bowl. The best clam chowder ever. This time we also ordered the Scampi. The shrimp were so huge and were served over rice. Delicious. Perfectly garlicky! For $20 we had 2 meals to share. Meals inside are... More

Although a bit expensive for the fare, a very good seafood restaurant. Always surprised at the cost of oysters on the West Coast.

The Lobster pasta was phenomenal. The Volcano drink was large and tasty!!! The bread divine:) The waiter was attentive and the customers around us were helpful with sightseeing tips for places even as far away as Seattle and Yosemite!! We arrived 10 minutes before closing (And having been in restaurant we hate doing that) but after a long days drive... More

The halibut was cooked to perfection. the service was great, attentive, but not hovering. The atmosphere was refined, yet relaxed and comfortable. The drink menu is massive and has something for everyone.

We visited recently and it wasn't the best meal I've ever eaten! Before I begin, the views are spectacular and that did make up in some way for the food, but because of the price we paid, not completely! Our starter of calamari was very chewy and the mains were a mixed bag. My husband had a crab filled ravioli... More

To die for!!! The perfect calamari and believe me, I've had lots! Just downright great fish and seafood. Large portions gorgeous view of Monterey Bay. This area is very commercial and touristy but you'll know that going in. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

I had a short sojourn in the area in June 2014. Got an early lunchtime table right out on the deck. The service was great, the food great; started my site seeing afternoon off just right!!
