Plenty of great seafood to choose from

The food there is very good. Luckily the guy I met there arrived when the doors opened so I didn't need to wait for a table. Only complaint I have is it feels like you are sitting with your neighbors as the tables are so tightly spaced.

I was quoted a wait of 30-45 minutes on a Thursday evening at 9pm. The meal was completely worth the wait. Oak grilled oysters were huge, smoky, garlicy, and delicious. Grilled snapper melted in my mouth. My wife wouldn't let me try her shrimp in house linguini, but based on how quickly she ate it, I bet it was awesome... More

We have eaten there over the last several years by ourselves and with family. We went again 2/9 after a long day at Pebble Beach. Always good service and excellent food. Reasonably priced, casual dress, great for families and small kids too. One dish is often large enough to serve two people, unless one is a big eater. Oysters on... More

The holiday seafood pasta is second to none. Loaded with a variety of seafood, homemade pasta and a pleasantly spicy broth, it is served more like a giant bowl of seafood soup. Highly recommended. Note. It's "cozy" and crowded but worth the wait.

First and most importantly the seafood at this restaurant is excellent. My blackened cod was excellent and my wife's meal was great also. The fish was tender and seasoned well and the fried calamari was some of the best I've eaten. That being said there are a couple of things that could be improved. The pasta in my wife's meal... I dropped in on Saturday night at 6pm without a reservation. Bad move. There was none chance of a single seat even at the bar for a long time. Lesson learned, I left and returned Sunday night at 5pm sharp and was seated immediately. I had the most delicious bowl of Sicilian Holiday Pasta, absolutely loaded with mussels, clams, calamari,... I like Sand Dab's...a very mild delicate fish. I've had them at the Sardine Factory in Cannery Row many times. They are "killer"....Well I ordered them at the Fish House. They were served without removing the bones. I hate fish with tiny bones and they were filled with bones. I complained and was told "that's the way we serve them"...... More

Was recently staying at the Spindrift (great place) and the wife and I wanted to have a goof fish lunch. We headed over to The Bath House which we found had changed ownership and was closed for lunch. So we figured we would go to the downtown area and look. We talked a gentleman walking who told us to go... More

My partner and I just re-located here from Chicago and have been so disappointed in the restaurant scene on the Monterey Peninsula. Tonight we were so excited to entertain my brother who is visiting from out of town. People here have been recommending this place for weeks. We had reservations, as was advised and could not wait to show off... More
