Seviche, Crab Cake, Pork Plate and Hula Pie!

We had seen the reviews and wanted a place close by the Aquarium. Good move. They had a Happy Hour with about a half a dozen pupus (appetizers) and mixed drinks on. We passed on the drinks but got the Hawaiian Seviche, It was a bunch of nice chunks of fish, limey, and peppery with a tad of... read more

We made reservations for 5:00pm because that was the only time available for 6 people when we made them. We were concernedthat no one would be hungry for dinner. Happy accident! We fell into Happy Hour for drinks and apps. Demry was our server, and she was bright, smiley, and helpful. We ordered Hula's Mai Tai, Manhattan, Dr Funk, and... More

We read about Hula's on Tripadvisor. Wanted to see this place for ourselves. We were lucky. It was Happy Hour all night! It was packed, but luckily we were seated within 15 minutes. We love this place. The food, the drinks, the service, the dessert and the prices were all good. We had a Nice cinco the mayo dinner Thanks... More

Look at the menu. If you want to try this type of food then do not hesitate!!! Prices are very reasonable. The decore is entertaining. The food is amazing. The only bad thing is that there is no parking except on the main street so expect to drive a bit to find parking. BTW, the big lot in the back... More

Great food, great atmosphere, really nice staff. Don't expect Hawaiian food - its more of a JAWAIIAN flave (for all you Polys out there) but really, really good. A nice place to hang and unwind with friends.

We were looking for something other than seafood and chose this place, a lively combination of surfboards on the ceiling, Tiki artifacts, lava lamps and other Hawaii-goes-Monterey elements. The food, and service, was fun. The pulled pork, slaw, Johnny cakes (Hawaiian style cornbread) and rice was delicious. Cocktails are great. Good value for the price. Would go back if in... More

Hula's was a little restaurant with great drinks and food. Fun Hawaiian like atmosphere. I had the crab cake and it was a giant crab cake with two different very tasty dipping sauces. Good food, fun place.
