Hula's reminds me of a place you might find on any of the Islands or in most So Cal beach towns. Very cool and laid back. Park your board out front, throw on a tank top and some flops and come on in! The food was very good; I had the seared Ahi tacos--which were just perfect. I have never... More

We ate here two nights in a row the spicy edamame was awesome as were the drinks fish tacos and the skirt steak. Beans and rice tasted phenomenal. Service lacked somewhat took a long time to get order in and refills and to get another round of drinks.

Very lively bar and grill with a nice island style feel. Staff encouraged us to buy drinks from happy menu rather than more expensive options. The menu is very unique and has a great range of choice. My wife had fish tacos which were very good. I had the Jawaian Jerk chicken plate. Great quantity and great flavours. Only criticism... More

Loved the food, service, atmosphere and drinks. 2 girls visiting from England, had a lovely evening. Highly recommend. A must are the spicy edamame beans!

Fun place with delicious tofu or vegetarian chickin options, which aren't available at many restaurants. Cocktails are really good too.

Seriously we ate at Hula's three times in one weekend. A friend recommended and it was the best. Fish sandwich is on a great bun with fab sauce. The drinks are touristy inspired but pack a great flavor and punch!! Can't wait to go back

While we stayed in Monterey I looked up restaurants in Trip Advisor and saw that Hula's was high on the list, so we tried it. Close to the B&B we were staying at we walked to Hula's for lunch. We loved the Hawaiian decor and the servers were nice as we walked in. I ordered the chicken hawaiian jerk and... More

Hulas is so much fun. It is a lively tropical place with fun staff. Great for solo snacks, also for friends and family. We ordered their Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe, A Big Kahuna New York Steak the Pan Seared Shrimp Tacos and beverages. They have it all. Priced right too ! Great meal and comfortable. Seating is close and noise level... More

The atmosphere is great with tikis, and bamboo all around. Great Vibes. We had a great waitress and she actually was able to address questions about the food and drinks. My husband questioned her regarding a Mai Tai and she said, Try one and if you don't like it will get you another drink on the house. Is that service... More
