Amazing Food

There was a small wait but totally worth it! We had the ceviche appetizer, I have dreams about it, it was so good. The shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had, and the Thai chicken bowl was spicy and had plantains which gave it a unique twist. We sat out on the patio which was nicely decorated... read more

We were looking for a nice lunch spot in Monterey that wouldn't break the bank. Hula's was delicious! Oh those sweet potato fries and coconut shrimp rolls!!! The fish tacos were also a delight. We enjoyed every bite!

I will definitely return to Hula's if I ever go to Monterey again. The atmosphere was good; the menu is nice; the server was very nice. The problem lies in the kitchen running out of an important ingredient and not telling the service staff before they take orders for it. Even the table next to us ordered the same thing... More

Very unassuming and informal restaurant with a big heart - thanks to Jordan who explained and suggested in just the right way - and then took a real interest in us and our fellow diners. The food: had a really unusual and delicious starter of slow cooked pork sliders in Chinese buns. Really delicious and fresh. Butterfish with macadamia nuts... More

Great food. Hopping, a little loud but fun. Very fresh fish special, monchong, perfectly cooked, great complimentary sauces. Fresh ahi. Lilikoi pie was excellent. Friendly staff and owners enjoying their work. A great find. Thanks hula girl.

Ordered the ribs and they came falling off the bone and hot! Made for a really good meal after walking around on a cold day. Also, make sure to switch to sweet potato fries.

The fish sandwich was soooo ono! I was surprised how good it was; if a little spicey. Fun Hawaiian decor and lots of grinds to choose from. Friendly service and yummy ice tea. I'll be back. Short 2 min. wait around 1pm during the week.

I like the fun decor of Hula's, the friendly service, and the many vegetarian options. Big servings and good prices make me come back again and again when the the area.

Funky little restaurant that never disappoints and is as close to Hawaiian food as you can find here. Quote often pretty crowded so may have to wait at the bar a bit. Oh, no worries, excellent maitais.

We went to Hula's on valentines day/Saturday night/ big golf tournament in town, so it was packed and loud, but we only had about a 30 minute wait. Once seated, service was pretty quick and the waitress very friendly. We ordered the mac and cheese and cheese appetizer which was delicious! Hubby had the hula burger and said it was... More
