Very fun.

We stopped in for happy hour one afternoon. Super friendly staff and fun drinks. We didn't eat dinner here, but the happy hour nibbles were tasty. The decor is very hilarious! Definitely worth a look.

This place is super tiki kitsch! In a good way. We started off with cocktails; a Mai Tai and a Dr Funk (chosen because it comes in a cool tiki mug). They were both very yummy. For dinner we had a pulled pork dish, fish tacos and grilled mahi. Everything was good all around. We had lots of fun. Highly... More

Welp, personally this should not be rated #1. The food was ateable but not great. Unfortunately the service was the BEST part! Our waiter was very nice! I did NOT like the calamari and she kindly took it off our bill. I would not come back here though...

After 16 years since my last visit(the staff was very gracious when I told them) and just visiting Hawaii last week, this was a great visit down memory lane as well as a fantastic dinner!I ate here a few times while working at the old Fort Ord during its BRAC in the late nineties. I had a fond memory of... More

For those of us yet to visit Hawaii, this is almost the next best thing. The cuisine is a strong mixture of everyday fish dishes and islands specialties. Do try it; you'll leave stuffed and satisfied.

The hula island grill is a great restaurant with very friendly staff and great food! Possibly one of the coolest restaurants I've ever been to!

Very nice but fun atmosphere. Really good food that is very fresh and all with an hawaiian island flair. We had a great lunch with very fresh and tasty fish. A great place off the tourist traps.

Hula's Island Grill is a delicious place to eat. However, it can get a little expensive even during Happy Hour. I would recommend spicy edamame.

Hula's is fun because of the Hawaiian vibe. However, they have only about 10 tables and so it's an hour wait for dinner. This is really a bar with a few tables. It's expensive. The food was good and the server was nice. Maybe go off hours to avoid the wait.

This was a great place to get island style food. We had a pork rice bowl, hamburgers, and mac and cheese. We also had 2 Mai Tais. Everything was awesome. The decor really put us back in the islands and the service definitely had aloha!
