Description: I would like to personally welcome you to Café Fina’s! My family and I have been serving diners on Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf since 1989. We specialize in Italian cuisine, make our pastas and raviolis in house, grow our own seasonal organic home-grown vegetables, and serve a variety of only the freshest seafood from the Monterey Bay. Our wood-burning oven prepares excellent pizza, and the quaint Italian decor and ocean views make dining at Cafe Fina a memorable experience. Café Fina is a full-service fine dining restaurant, serving lunch and dinner. In addition to our award winning food, we also feature a wide variety of wines, including the best of our local wines, the finest wines that Napa valley has to offer, and a fine selection of Italian wines. Dominic’s cooking has enabled Café Fina to be the sole caterer for John Madden’s induction ceremony into the Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and has earned him visits from Rachel Ray and other TV stars. I hope to see you soon

The window seat was great for watching the harbor seals & boats. My father loved his sand dabs & I enjoyed the salmon with orzo pasta salad. He was happy they served his favorite non-alcoholic beer. Service was very nice, but the place is a little tight (small space like a hallway with tables)

Came to this place by way of a guidebook review. At touristy fisherman's wharf but with anice view overlooking the water. Front lookslike a pizza shop but with a wood stove. Tables set with whi tablecloths . Service is impeccable. Food is old school Italian American no haute cuisine or regional cooking here just excellent tasty classic Italian American. Great... More

Best chowder I've had in years -thick, lots of clams and the way it should taste. The garlic bread is delicious and comes with four large pieces to share. My shrimp salad had red and yellow heirloom tomatoes, plenty of fresh shrimp with dressing on the side. Try the honey pomegranate lemonade if you crave something sweet. Victor provided great... More

The very best meal I had during our stay in Monterey and I never had to ask our servers for anything! It was just that good! The restaurant could use some updating but the food and service cannot be beat! We will be back! Try the calamari steak meal. It is fabulous!

It's hard to choose a restaurante when there ares so many options...We kinda did eeny, meeny, miny, mo and ended up opting for Cafe Fina. Couldnt be better. Fresh ingredients of the dishes make all the difference: a delight. The place is a little tight, but the food certainly compensates. Recommend.

"We always go to Cafe Fina," was the answer we received when we asked the crew of the Sea Wolf II where was the best place for dinner. Boy are we glad we took their advice! We were greeted by James shown our table right away, near the back window over looking the bay. Mark was our server and right... More

My wife and I visit Monterey several times each year. Every visit we walk to the wharf for food and drinks. On this trip we had the pleasure of meeting Dominic, the owner of this cafe. We had heard about their good food from previous visits but had never stopped in. We are glad we did and we will eat... More

This restaurant was one of the restaurants recommended by our hotel we stayed during our recent visit to Monterey, we had a very positive experience at this place. Food and service were both excellent, definitely a place you should try if visiting the area. Their clam chowder is excellent.

After an extremely amenable young lady persuaded us to go in (she gave us a taste of a lovely clam chowder), we were shown to a wonderful table looking up towards Coastguards pier, watching the sunset. I ordered the calamari (squid) which came plated in armoured breadcrumbs which must have been deep fried in oil which was then brought to... More

We went to this restaurant for one reason... to eat our own fish. We had a party of 16. The men had fished that day for Rockfish Cod. We were going to be flying out the next morning, so we could not take the fish with us. The fisherman guide suggested we take it to this restaurant and they would... More
