Description: I would like to personally welcome you to Café Fina’s! My family and I have been serving diners on Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf since 1989. We specialize in Italian cuisine, make our pastas and raviolis in house, grow our own seasonal organic home-grown vegetables, and serve a variety of only the freshest seafood from the Monterey Bay. Our wood-burning oven prepares excellent pizza, and the quaint Italian decor and ocean views make dining at Cafe Fina a memorable experience. Café Fina is a full-service fine dining restaurant, serving lunch and dinner. In addition to our award winning food, we also feature a wide variety of wines, including the best of our local wines, the finest wines that Napa valley has to offer, and a fine selection of Italian wines. Dominic’s cooking has enabled Café Fina to be the sole caterer for John Madden’s induction ceremony into the Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and has earned him visits from Rachel Ray and other TV stars. I hope to see you soon

This restaurant was one of the restaurants recommended by our hotel we stayed during our recent visit to Monterey, we had a very positive experience at this place. Food and service were both excellent, definitely a place you should try if visiting the area. Their clam chowder is excellent.

After an extremely amenable young lady persuaded us to go in (she gave us a taste of a lovely clam chowder), we were shown to a wonderful table looking up towards Coastguards pier, watching the sunset. I ordered the calamari (squid) which came plated in armoured breadcrumbs which must have been deep fried in oil which was then brought to... More

We went to this restaurant for one reason... to eat our own fish. We had a party of 16. The men had fished that day for Rockfish Cod. We were going to be flying out the next morning, so we could not take the fish with us. The fisherman guide suggested we take it to this restaurant and they would... More

This places food is good but the cooking is slow. They serve really big plates that is worth the price. Overall pretty good!

Went here for dinner. My wife and I had the fish and chips. 3 small pieces of fish and fries. For the price, I would have expected something better. I also had a cup of home made clam chowder. Now that was good. We managed a free appetizer of garlic bread and it was good. My wife also had a... More

We went to Cafe Fina on the recommendation of our concierge. She made our reservation. It is in the wharf and we got a table overlooking an inlet. It was fun to watch the otters, sea lions and gulls while we ate. There is seating on the boardwalk and people seated there seemed to enjoy people watching while they munched.... More

With so many choices on the pier it's hard to pick the right spot for lunch. My husband and I picked this place on a whim and I am happy I did. First ... when I see pictures of MythBusters on the wall my heart tends to sing with glee... but I digress. I ordered the shrimp scampi and had... More

We've been going here for years for dinner. Went there last weekend for lunch and was very disappointed. First, the host, (purple shirt) not the owner, while busy, never smiled as he greeted us and acted as though we were an inconvenience for him because there were no available seats inside. 2nd, happy hour drinks are less expensive but less... After a whale watching trip our family enjoyed a lunch inside with nice little view of shore/inlet and some wildlife. Food solid and diverse. Nice touches with Italian language lessons playing overhead, crayons/placemats for kids, personalized and frequent check-in level service. We'd go back there for sure.

Had halibut, asked for fresh vegetables w/no butter. All I can say is excellent and staff was very friendly and courteous.
