Great appetizers at happy hour. We made a meal of cervachi, pizza and sliders. The local brews were great. Highly recommend.

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The wait staff is very in tune to each customer, the food is outstanding, and the environment can be adaptable to either a large gathering of friends or a quiet romantic dinner. You MUST try the escargot, it's fantastic!

We'd heard this was a classic stop to make while visiting the Monterey wharf area so we decided to give it a try. It reminded of the place you go with Grandma for an early Sunday dinner after church. The food was so/so and our waiter's obsequiousness bordered on comical. For the price, I'm sure you can find a much... More

Previously we had an amazing dining experience at this ckassic mainstay restaurant in a classic location and building. This time around....kids running around, diners dressed like they were at Olive Garden and disarray in the kitchen. WOW....what a mess. When you are oaying 40 do,, ars plus for a maincourse you expect to have everything perfect.....not the case last night.... More

Celebrated our anniversary at the Sardine Factory. Was recommended to us by a local merchant. The space is interesting and we ended up in a small room that we had to ourselves most of the time. Service was incredible. Friendly, informative, helpful, not annoying. Food was spectacular. Artichoke soup was great. Prime rib was the best I've had in a... More

We didn't mean to walk in to the most expensive restaurant in Monterey (at least, I don't want to know what is more expensive), but once we did, we felt committed to stay and eat. I had a bowl of abalone bisque and a Salinas salad, which is made with locally-sourced produce. The bisque was delicious, and my only disappointment... More

I was in Monterey on business and B accompanied me. We had dinner here on March 25th and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant itself is quite nicely laid out and decorated. There are at least three distinct areas in the restaurant (I understand there is one additional area, but we didn't see it). We were seated in the conservatory, which... More

I ordered prime rib over 30% of my 12oz cut was fat. When I showed to waiter I was told that all prime rib has lots of fat thats the way they come. I have had lots of prime rib at restaurants where I dont have to spend time cutting out all the fat from my prime rib. Another couple... More
