This is one of my favorite breakfast places. The food is amazing and I love the atmosphere. I frequent this place often...

Nice place to sit outside while the world jogs by. Service is low key but no less than you'd want. Order at the counter. Take cash as they don't take card! My husband enjoyed his food but I made a bad choice on my omelette - turns out, for me, goats cheese is not a breakfast food! Good coffee.

Extensive menu, with a nice selection of creative dishes, plus standard breakfast fare. I had eggs benedict, which were beautifully prepared, soft yolks, no runny whites; my husband ordered a plate which featured eggs, pancakes, and divine bacon - cooked perfectly. Our friend had the omellette with spinach and feta. Healthy, and delicious - the menu states they use local... More

We loved the quaint atmosphere of this little cafe, and the food was pretty good. The strawberries on the strawberry waffles were sweet, the bacon and egg sandwich and country potatoes were extremely good. Our only complaints were that the drinks were delivered late and the chocolate milk was room temperature.

We had breakfast here each morning we stayed at the Clement InterContinental. Very easy going atmosphere, tables both inside and outside. Great omelettes and overall a good selection of breakfast choices at decent prices. If staying near Cannery Row (it's just one block up) and not taking breakfast at the hotel, this is a perfect option

We went here on the recommendation at our hotel, but weren't too impressed. For one thing, they only take cash and that's a problem for us when we travel. We ordered hot breakfasts but the food was not hot, and it got colder fast because it sits by the cold Pacific (not their fault of course but it it had... More

Reasonably good food in a lovely location spoiled by inattentive and outwardly hostile staff. Apparently others feel the same way -- some days it's good and other days not so much. We unfortunately were that on a not so much day.

My morning java is important to me and I like the local stuff so I tried them all and Trailside was by FAR the best. Try the home made beignets! Yummmmm

Wonderful service, good coffee, fresh food. I asked for a gluten free alternative to the tuna salad sandwich. I was served a tuna salad patty, fresh tomato, surrounded by a large and fresh lettuce leaf. Delicious!

We stumbled on this small cafe but it was a gem. It was Sunday on Memorial Day and supposedly their busiest day of the year. The service lacked a little for refilling water and iced tea but other than that it was very good food. I had crab benedict and it was prepared perfectly and was tasty. Best part though... More
