Whenever we visit the Monterey area, we come here. It's a nice family restaurant and great if you have kids.. You order at the counter, grab your drinks and number and they deliver your food to you. The crust is thick and doughy (which I like a lot). Their breadsticks are also yummy and a good size. You can easily... More

I'm not really into pizza restaurants - but because my son had eaten here one time prior to my visit, and wanted me to try it .. I agreed, and was completely impressed! I didn't intend to eat any pizza, as there are so many other items on the menu to choose from, and because I'm not really into pizza.... More

Recommended by our hotel concierge, and a short walk from The Monterey Plaza this pizza place exceeded expectations. The restaurant seemed busy and you have to find your own table which could have been a problem for 7 of us but one of the wait staff helped us out. You then choose your meals and order at the desk. Pizzas... More

Wanted a pretty quick and uncomplicated meal so called in on a Wednesday evening without knowing anything about the place. Portions are sizeable so have an appetite and the unlimited fountain drinks keep washing the food down. Really enjoyed it and it had a fun family buzz too.

Gianni's on Lighthouse Avenue is simply a class act. Huge, thickly layered pizza with gobs of tastey, gooey cheese, on a near-perfect hand-tossed crust, the experience is unbelieveable. The toppings are all fresh and very tastey, and the crust bottom has just that perfect bit of crunch to hold everything together. I shared the Large Meat-Zilla with adult son and... More

Whenever we visit the Monterey Peninsula we visit Gianni's for pizza. I have been coming here for many years, since before the wife and kids. Latest visit a few days ago, a bit of a disappointment. Ordered the Gianni's Special, their meat and veggie combo. Lots of olives and bell peppers, not a lot of sausage and pepperoni; almost bellyached... More

we have eaten here twice and both times the pizza is very good. On weekend nights it gets super crowded and very noisy but the food is always good.
