We only called in for a light brunch whilst wandering round the wharf on a day-trip. The place is a little cramped & ramshackle, but homely for all that. Service was friendly & genuine. Nice views out of the window over the harbour where you can watch the sealions and the pelicans. We did not have time to stay for... More

I must have gone to a totally different Crab Louie's from the previous reviewer from Sao Paul. The one I went to had incredible stuffed sea bass, pleasant and warm staff and everything including the bathroom seemed to be quite clean. I went to Louie's quite by chance. The staff from our hotel recommended another place on the old wharf,... More

The name will be change to Crappy Louie`s. Terrible experience and very expensive. I refused to pay tip and the waiter come to me and ask why. Do a favor to yourself and do not tread in this place. Today, I went to the restaurant with my brother and we had the worst experience of our entire trip to California... More

Had dinner here while searching for a place to eat on the wharf in Monterey. Lots of options but the stuffed Sea Bass sounded good. It did not disappoint. Great food from the clam chowder to the main course. The location is very small but the service is great. Nice views if you are able to get a table close... More

We had been walking the wharf and stopped here so my wife could try their crab. I had their fresh King Salmon. Both were very good. Our server, Don, was very professional, attentive, and had great suggestions. He got us a window table as soon as one was available. We definitely would go back.

Okay, the title may be misleading, but we were thoroughly entertained during our meal by the playful otter and sea lions in the marina. When you walk down Fisherman's Wharf, restaurant employees are waiting outside with free samples of their clam chowder. One of our group sampled the chowder at four restaurants and chose Crab Louie's Bistro for our lunch... More

We ate here because I really wanted clam chowder and figured it looked like a great place for it. I ended up having a another favorite of mine, fish & chips. The other people in my group had chowder bread bowls. I thought the chowder was a little bland, although it had lots of clams in it. My fish &... More

This restaurant was recommended by our daughter, but the reception desk at our hotel told us not to go there. They referred us to a much pricer place. We went anyway and it was a fun time. The restaurant is very small and sits on the wharf. We went early and were given a table by the window. We had... More

I am always on a quest to find that fish that doesn't taste like fish... I know it's good for me, but I just don't like that fishy taste! In any case, my wife and I were in Monterey for a conference and we were walking down the pier at Fisherman's Wharf one evening when we decided to give Crab... More

We did not eat there, but only sampled the free chowder that most of the restaurants on the wharf hand out. It was a bit watery when compared to where we actually at dinner which was Domenico's
