We sat outside on a sunny day - very nice location - good food but a bit on the pricey side for the average family. I liked the fact that the portions here were not as large as American portions usually are. They were a good size.

I enjoyed my meal here. Everything was well prepared. The olive oil on the bruschetta was excellent. Gnocchi was very good with an excellent sauce.

We came to Paluca Trattoria for a Thursday lunch and were able to sit down immediately. We ordered Penne Pasta, Chicken Pesto Panini, and Fish and Chips. They all tasted great, and we even ordered seconds for the pasta (the kids' portion was quite small). We also enjoyed the nice location of this place, right on the wharf, and were... More

Thanks to Arecelli for great service on Valentine's Day. Good: the gnocchi was really good, lite and tasty. The Garlic fries were cooked just right. The bad: the garlic on the fries was raw and bitter. The special halibut was over cooked and the pasta tasted like tuna noodle casserole. Arecelli needs to get a job in a better restaurant.... More

Not worthy of 4 out of 5. Much better places on the wharf. Surprised they can afford to stay on business.

This review is for the service only, and not the food! Since the service was so bad, my husband and I walked away from this restaurant. After we were done with the whale watching tour, my husband and I wanted to enjoy a nice lunch while still in Monterey. We stopped at this place because we wanted to sit outdoors... More

It was over two months ago when we visited this place but I still remember that feeling when we were leaving the Trattoria - the feeling that it was just dissapointing and definitely not worth our money, or even our time! AFAIR, we ordered some soups and pastas. They weren't bad but it's nothing to remember. No 'wow factor' at... More

this is one of the finest restaurants on the wharf! If you are at (or even near) the fisherman's wharf in Monterey and want Italian food, this is the place to go! We have always rec'd great service here, and the food is always excellent. We have been with family, with friends and by ourselves and it is always perfect!
