Spur of the moment choice, so we had to wait a bit. Once we got in, the service was wonderful and friendly. The Food was great and the Garlic fries were some of the best we had on our trip-(my daughter seemed to order them wherever we went.) Eating on the wharf just made it nicer. Wouldn't mind trying it... More

Yes I know the title might not be that appealing but I had their clam chowder and wow! The bread tasted extremely fresh, and delicious, the service was great too. I will sure come back and order something from the menu, I'm very happy with this place and if you are around you should definitely try it, maybe if you... More

Its been two weeks since I had dinner at Paluca Trattoria and I'm still thinking about the salmon I had. This spot is easy to miss because it's just as you enter onto Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. It's to the right with indoor and outdoor seating that has a picturesque setting, overlooking Monterey Harbor. The seals barking adds the perfect... More

I have to admit that I'm a connoisseur of fish and chips and as a Monterey local I have tried them every where. And the winner is Paluca Trattoria!!! One perfectly battered and crispy piece of fish so flakey and fresh and hot crispy fries. It's so nice to sit on the patio and relax watch the sea wild life... More

My daughter and her boyfriend been there several times and love their clam chowder. She took me there for lunch. Of course we ordered clam chowder, my daughter warned me that chowder comes in shallow bowl gets cold very quickly, so I order a cup. It was very hot and tasty. We also ordered another appetizer, Sicilian Shrimp (consisted of... More

A really nice place to eat and sit a while outside. The taste and Quality of the Food, especially the Pasta is really great and the Pasta is fresh made. Also the Antipasti and Bruschetta is very good and enough to share first. We go there for two times, also after Whale Watching and there was always the same on... More

We decided to give this place a try for one of our dinners over the Labor Day weekend, as it is just next door to Crepes of Brittany (a place we loved, reviewed separately) on Old Fishermen's Wharf. The menu looked like it had plenty of choices to our group (two grandparents and two young granddaughters), and it did not... More

We felt like seafood pasta so we walked the Wharf, checked out the various restaurants, and decided to try Paulca Trattoria. This place was not very busy but was very inviting. I love the interior decor; it was cozy and modern with a great view. We had great and prompt service. We ordered the pesto calamari appetizer and shared the... More

Following the Tripadvisor reviews we decided to try it, and my wife and I had an excellent experience. I had the Linguini ( cooked al dente, of course) with fresh Pomidori sauce, small bits of chicken, and other ingredients, a pefectly balanced and tasty dish. My wife had the Fritto Misto consisting of calamari, shrimp and white fish, deep fried... More
