LUCKY'S is widely known for its exclusive selection of USDA Prime steaks, live Maine lobsters, no-nonsense cocktails and world class wine cellar. LUCKY'S remains one of a rare few to honor the no nonsense steak dinner traditions. From the moment you’re greeted at you car by the valet, seated at your table, encouraged to roll up your sleeves, martini in hand, you are served. Are you ever served! There’s just no other eatery in Santa Barbara that practices the art of serving a prime steak dinner better than LUCKY'S.

Fantastic but pricey

The meat was really good and the sides were delicious. We were 5 guys and we had 5 different starters and 4 different mains and everyone was pleased. The wine was good and the coffee afterwards was exactly what you would expect from a place like that. The acoustics was good and the interior design... read more

I met a friend here for Sunday brunch – she had the wild mushroom and gruyere omelette with fresh fruit and toast ($19) and I had the brioche French toast with fresh whipped cream, fresh berries and warm maple syrup ($14). We both enjoyed our meals very much – the toast came with fabulous homemade blueberry preserves, and we were... More

I have been here several times with business groups, but this trip was with my wife on her birthday. We loved it. The ambiance was perfect; the service was excellent; and the food and wine were outstanding. After sharing a giant shrimp cocktail, my wife had surf and turf and asparagus and I had beef stroganoff and iceberg wedge salad.... More

There are a lot of good restaurants in the Santa Barbara area, but some are better than others and Lucky's is the better category. If you are looking for a classic steakhouse with a California vibe this is the restaurant. This is best restaurant for steak in Santa Barbara. In addition to great food, the service is exceptional and the... More

Going through some pictures today of our trip to California earlier this year, I was reminded of my husband's comment when we had dinner there that the matzah ball soup at Lucky's was "the best he's ever had." Just thought I should share on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, I didn't write a review at the time, so I don't remember what else... More

Overpriced, disgusting service ---- friend cut her foot one of the table legs, which they said was her fault, and gave her a dirty napkin to cover the cut ! Shame used to be the place to go before it became Lucky's.

I love a good steak. Visited while on vacation. First, I have no objection to high prices when entire experience is superior. Dinner for 3 people with only one drinker was $400 with tip. Service was slow, robotic and very sales-y. You could almost see wind come out of her sails when only one of us ordered wine. Greek salad... More

If you're looking for a place that is reminiscent of the rat pack, this is your place. We had excellent food and service. We decided to eat in the bar as it was a quiet weeknight. Drinks were great. I had the chicken which was perfectly cooked. Wife had the pork chop. It was a little dry, she was looking... More

This was a really cool place, lots of pictures on the wall of celebs... Great burger but I'm sure the steaks were fabulous.
