Amazing steaks! Visited two days in a row and the steaks were world class + excellent service and a good bar selection. Having visited the two top rated SB restaurants in TripAdvisor listing – I think this is the real no. 1

Excellent food, great service, good people watching and entertainment. Wine list is excellent. It's, arguably, the best restaurant in the area and aptly named.

My wife & I admit to being private persons and prefer to avoid finding our faces in public places. We were in close contact with numerous Hollywood personalities years ago when we ran a popular restaurant in Palm Springs which was a gathering place for celebrities. Many became casual friends and "normal" people to us. Lucky's is just such a... More

We always enjoy dinner at Lucky's. The staff is casual and friendly, yet service is polished. The restaurant often offers abalone on the menu. When available, it is fresh and prepared nicely. Abalone is a "hard to find" treat. The menu has lots of great sides, the beets and cream corn are my favorites here. A must have for me... More

We wandered into Lucky's while staying at the Four Season's nearby. The comments here for drinks is spot on, Great Martini's! The food is very good, we both had the double cut lamb chop, excellent! Sides are extra, don't miss the cream corn. It's fresh corn in a nice cream sauce. Nice friendly service, not intrusive, but available as needed,... More

Excellent service, great food and fab martinis! They do it right. Started with a very dirty vodka martini in the bar area while we waited for the rest of our group. One of the best. I was feeling my first one in a very good way. The bar area and restaurant is cozy and traditional. We carried our drinks to... More

Thank goodness I chose not to go to dinner with my in-laws. They took my husband here for his birthday dinner. Big Mistake. We live in Ventura. He hadn't eaten anything all day, anticipating a good dinner. He almost didn't make it home - was getting bathroom cramps about half way home. He ordered the peppercorn steak and a wedge... More

There's a lot to like here. The room is comfortable (if noisy) and lined with pictures of celebrities who, we assume, graced Lucky's and its prior incarnations with their presence. And framed wine labels from top wineries with autographs of their (presumably -- couldn't read most of them) famous drinkers. The menu is large and, although heavy on meat, varied... More

They ruined our special event evening by making my wife violently ill by ignoring the food allergy that she informed them about when ordering. My wife got to spend half the meal throwing up in the bathroom but they were kind enough to comp her the soup that made her violently ill, the steak she couldn't eat because she was... More

I love this place, how can you not like a great restaurant in one of the world's most beautiful cities. The food has been a little up and down, if only because you expect it to always be EXCELLENT when the prices are over the top...but the truth is, in this town I get the feeling if you have to...
