Excellent food, great service, but pricey

Locals will love to celebrate special events here. If you're from out of town, this is a great place to watch the sunset (drink responsibly and drive safe when you get back on the road). I wanting to try Peruvian food and my friends took me to this place. We ordered 3 different dishes to share and all of them was lovely. Excellent restaurant with nice view over the beach and I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's a treat to sit out on their patio, they have heaters, blankets, but the best is the fire pits...keep you warm on a cool coast night. Love their small plates and happy hour!

Been here several times and just love it. Parking lot is always full because of beach goers and surfers but you can always park in the neighborhood across the street.

Make reservations and ask for a view of the ocean. Or show up early and go downstairs for beverages and a wide selection of food. Upstairs is the dining room downstairs is more casual dining. Downstairs you can snuggle up with a loved one while you watch the waves crash on the beach. Food was ok. Too spicy for me... More

Expansive views of the ocean, mountains and sky make this a reason to visit this location. Add in the unique Peruvian cuisine and you have a recipe for a fabulous evening. Each dish is not overly expensive, but it's important to know that most dishes come primarily in small plates making it somewhat of an expensive meal. We were celebrating... More

We celebrated a special occasion on a Sunday evening at La Costanera. It was busy but we had a reservation. It was a delightful experience. The view of the beach and sunset were beautiful. The décor was nice and had character. We tried the pisco sour cocktail for the first time and liked it. We only ordered small plates to... More

This place is simply amazing. We were recently there for our 12th visit in two years, and with the exception of one small stumble about a year ago, EVERY visit has been fantastic. We have started a new tradition of coming here on our wedding anniversary every year, and this year the restaurant had a small but meaningful treat waiting... More

Skimpy helpings, slow and careless service. Also the employees are cleaning kitchen equipment outside and the residue is finding its way to the beach- grease, oil, ect. Also they use a blower to clean off the south parking lot and the residue ends up on the rocks below and finally the beach. Locals clean up this stuff as volunteers. They have... More

We enjoyed a beautiful and exotic sunset anniversary meal on the patio. This was a premium experience and worth it for us! We grabbed a patio spot about 5:45. (Bring sunglasses and a jacket). We order a host of smaller dishes from heirloom tomato salad (fantastic favors) through a fish stew. The waiter suggested a wonderful wine to compliment the... More
