My family had dinner at this seaside restaurant over the Christmas holiday. We ordered multiples of tapa offerings and enjoyed the feasting with an array of empanadas with luscious fillings, cerviche, fried calamari and salads. The small plates satisfied appetites making entree orders unnecessary. I would avoid the Tres Leches dessert choice (unless you're wild about butterscotch pudding) while the... More

Great location. Too bad they can't be open for lunch. Sunset views are splendid. Very creative menu a take on Peruvian, but better. Can't miss on this one. Just don't order the Caesar salad. Just about anything else is worth a try.

We saw La Costanera, a restaurant in Montara, just south of San Francisco. It was on the same side of the road, looked nice from the outside and there were cars there so it seemed a reasonable place to stop. Hey we were hungry, almost anything would be reasonable at that hour! It turned out to be an upscale Peruvian... More

Locals will love to celebrate special events here. If you're from out of town, this is a great place to watch the sunset (drink responsibly and drive safe when you get back on the road). It's a safe and decent place to try out Peruvian food for the first time. I came with a large party — the food and... More

I wanting to try Peruvian food and my friends took me to this place. We ordered 3 different dishes to share and all of them was lovely. Excellent restaurant with nice view over the beach and I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's a treat to sit out on their patio, they have heaters, blankets, but the best is the fire pits...keep you warm on a cool coast night. Love their small plates and happy hour!

Been here several times and just love it. Parking lot is always full because of beach goers and surfers but you can always park in the neighborhood across the street.

Make reservations and ask for a view of the ocean. Or show up early and go downstairs for beverages and a wide selection of food. Upstairs is the dining room downstairs is more casual dining. Downstairs you can snuggle up with a loved one while you watch the waves crash on the beach. Food was ok. Too spicy for me... More

Expansive views of the ocean, mountains and sky make this a reason to visit this location. Add in the unique Peruvian cuisine and you have a recipe for a fabulous evening. Each dish is not overly expensive, but it's important to know that most dishes come primarily in small plates making it somewhat of an expensive meal. We were celebrating... More
