Sunset and ceviche on a beautiful beach

I can't speak to the entire dinner menu, because I have heard it is a bit uneven, but I love making the trip out to the coast to La Costanera because if you time it right, it is an excellent experience. I like to come in the afternoon to hang out and let my dogs run around Montara beach, which... read more

A restaurant with stunning views of the beach and ocean. Excellent Peruvian food and service! There is a open-air bar down stairs with restaurant above. We had all small plates which we shared. Our waitor cleared the plates and cultlery often, so we could appreciate each dish and flavor separately.

We had a large group meet for dinner. The food was fine, as was the service. However, there was nothing overly special about either. Stop in and have a meal, but do not expect anything truly memorable.

Great location in Montara with a spectacular bar/patio downstairs that looks right out onto the ocean. Dining room is upstairs, very open, so everyone can see the view. Food is great -- fantastic that it's not "standard fare". Some dishes are unusual and taste great!

My husband and I love this place and have been here many times. The ocean views from patio and bar are beautiful and the all of the appetizers are very good, especially the ceviche. The chicken chicharrones are delicious. They have a good happy hour menu and the Peruvian beer, Cusquena is really nice.

WOW! We ordered a bunch of small plates and that was dinner for two. Ceviche w/ halibut was so nicely done, roasted corn kernels, and just really interesting flavors. Shrimp w/ spicy sauce, pork ribs that fell off the bone, all fabulous. Octopus was a little too much, but it looked beautiful. Views of the Pacific are spectacular. Live music a... More

We attended a family wedding and reception here....absolutely beautiful setting. The wedding party had reserved the entire restaurant. The wedding was outdoors on the patio overlooking the Pacific. Cocktails were served downstairs and then we went upstairs for dinner. There were approximately 140 guests, so it was a bit crowded. The tables were close to each other. The food was... More

I visited this wonderful Peruvian restaurant with friends while visiting Northern California. It has breathtaking views in both their patio and inside dining areas of a gorgeous beach area. The decor is bright and contemporary with a very cool layout. A gorgeous indoor lounge dining area with beautiful comfy sectional couches. A great patio with several large firepit style tables.... Went here to celebrate our anniversary. Excellent menu, wide variety of choices, beautifully cooked and super tasty. Highly recommend to anyone in the Bay Area, just a really good place.

Be there at sunset! Ask for a table by the window. The food is as good as the view. I ordered the chicken..best chicken I have EVER had. Great wine list, as well.
