Good Food, Below Average Service

The quality of the lunch menu at Red Lobster was better than I remembered from a few years ago. I had a lobster pesto dish that was quite good with a Kendall Jackson Chardonnay that was all right. However, I had to wait about five minutes in a nearly empty restaurant to be seated because there was... read more

When traveling solo, I enjoy eating at this restaurant's bar. Even when the lobby is crowded with groups awaiting restaurant seating, the bar usually has an open seat for the single diner. Snag a bar seat with no wait, order from the regular restaurant menu, enjoy consistent Red Lobster food. Meanwhile, enjoy the casual bar atmosphere: watch sports on the... More

We went with a group of 9 people ranging in ages from 2 to 58. Made reservations (always wise with a group of this size) on a Saturday evening and were seated promptly. They split our table up between two wait staff which worked out pretty well. Everyone left full and happy. And the wife got a scoop of ice... More

I can understand that everybody can make mistake, but there is a limit to mistakes I can handle especially in restaurant. After getting to table I asked what type of bottled beers they have, ordered one just to find out they ran out of beer of my choice and had to settle for something else. I ordered main dish. It... We keep saying we will not go back to the Red Lobster but we see all of their ads and coupons and give it another try. However, they continue to dissapoint us with their quality and pricing of there food. The only good thing I can say is their rolls are great. After that it all sucks. The fish I... More

I know it's a Red Lobster and I'm giving 5 stars. Hear me out, as I haven't really lost my mind. I haven't been to Red Lobster in over a decade, but I had a gift card so I decided to us it. I expected a dingy restaurant, over-cooked fish, bland vegetables- what I remember from the last time I... More

We just enjoyed a delicious meal at Red Lobster Monrovia. We were pleasantly greeted and seated. Our waiter, Anthony, was terrific! He took Grandma's lobster out of the shell for her. The biscuits were the best I have ever tasted. The salad was fresh and delicious. We had their new lightly breaded and quick-fried green beans -- Amazing and a... More
